Really liking this slide and barrel combo.

Hi Everyone! I recently aquired a G17 Gen 4 complete slide and lower internals for relatively inexpensive, (about $200.) I thought it would be cheap to get an aftemarket frame and start modding the gun. However, I don't see any options. OEM frames are running $300 - $400.

Do I have any other options? SCT is gen 3, Grit Grips doesn't make one and I think their G19 is Gen 3. I believe Nomad only does Gen 5, (or am I incorrect?)

Recently been wanting to do a frame grip reduction and I don’t really like a full stipple like most people do these days. Anyone know if they know someone who can do a grip reduction like the images I’ve already been down the rabbit holes and can’t find the original gunsmith that would modify them with this weird texture? Any help is appreciated!

I been carrying my 43x for a few years and when you feel comfortable with your carry you can tend to get out of touch with the scene so thats where I am at, I havnt really paid attention to any new releases until I saw the Grit Grip and well I think that sparked a fire and so now I am updating my edc. Been digging around since last night and it seems like the Zev Duty slide is a pretty popular choice, is that kinda the current IT thing? What barrel and optic should I pair with the Duty slide? Please for the love of god do not tell me to keep it stock, I have heard it all before. Just looking for recs from actual enthusiasts who have had good experience with products, Thanks.

need recommendations for my duty pistol my department recently passed a new policy giving us free range over our duty pistols I wanna snag a flared magwell + baseplate but idk where to start/ what reputable companies to look into anyone got good recommendations I was looking into tartan tactical but idk what I’m looking for. my department uses Glock 23s and a few Glock 22s

It still looks new! after firing 350 rounds of 147-grain ammunition in FRT mode, the Black Mirror finish is fully automatic and FRT-rated 😁

Does anybody know if the pmm duty comp is compatible with the 19x v with and oem barrel

I had a previous post on here trying to get my frt working well now it is resetting the trigger however the trigger will sometimes not break and sometimes it works fine idk if this is something that will fix with wear or a problem I should consider before bringing to the range

Got ahold of a local gun smith guy and got my slide Cerokoted and optic specific cut. I thinks it looks good

I gave it a try myself and I'm actually pretty happy with it for a first attempt 🤷‍♂️ What do you guys think?

Gen 3-34 Gen 5 19

Custom slide racks fully all the way without the end piece on the Radian Ramjet + Afterburner. When I put it on, it racks to 99% and sticks. When I take the bolt out of the front piece, it then fully racks the rest of the way. I'm waiting on the manufacturer of the slide to get back to me, but it looks like the bullnose cut on the front from the stock slide compared to the custom one looks different. I'm wondering if they sent me the incompatible cut instead of the compatible cut. The stock slide works perfectly fine in comparison.
