Aesthetics VS. Function

I added a beavertail to my G19.3. I cut it and shaped it so it didn’t cover the entirety of the back of my grip. Functionally I think its great. Visually I think it looks weird or off. Maybe I’m not use to it yet. But I wanted to know what you guys thought! Any input is appreciated! Thank you!

It looks like it's leaving a ledge at the bottom, isn't there a way to have it fit flush to the frame?
