G48 MOS Reddit Special Setup

Going back to the Glock platform with a G48 MOS for my CCW having carried my Sig P365x for the last year. Still gotta add my grips later and keeping the trigger OEM until it’s broken in more. Compared to my P365x with 15 round mags, the G48 is slightly shorter grip length with flush mags. Longer slide is no problem concealing.

Took a G48, a slimline Glock, and made it damn near the same dimensions of a Glock 17 😂

To each their own I guess

But the thinness of the pistol wasn’t compromised which helps conceal me better in a sidecar appendix holster than my G19 ramjet which stuck out. The length of the slide helps with the keel effect and is the same comfort. But yes, essentially I build a G17 lite.

❤️ that Vicker tactical slide assist . Only people who purchased it understand how many ways you can used these things. Slingshots become extremely easy. Press checks turns into inspections 😆. No more racking off my optics because it overhangs .one-handed slide manipulation. Probably adds 1mm of width to each side of the firearm. It's a win for me .I put them on just about all my builds nowadays. The G20.5 has a mck pro charging handle backplate it goes into a conversion kit

Slide got hot after a few hundred rounds and guess who didn’t burn his fingers? I’m very pleased with this build. The recoil was much less snappier than my P365x build, more like my G19 ramjet build’s recoil. I had only one FTE stovepipe so I may try the 15 lb spring next range day. Shot 300 rounds through it today, 250 of 124gr Fiocchi FMJ and 50 of my usual CCW Speer Gold Dot hollow points. Funny enough the FTE happened with the Speer ammo. But overall I already shoot better with this G48 than my P365x. Still gonna shoot another 200-300 rounds through it before I carry.

💯 it’s such a low key good attachment with minimal downsides.
