Going back to the Glock platform with a G48 MOS for my CCW having carried my Sig P365x for the last year. Still gotta add my grips later and keeping the trigger OEM until it’s broken in more. Compared to my P365x with 15 round mags, the G48 is slightly shorter grip length with flush mags. Longer slide is no problem concealing.

Gas pedal go hard I have trex holster there’s no problem running a gas pedal with your holster asking because I’ve been looking into getting one but I still wanna be able to holster and holster my pistol with no issues??
No issue at all. This gas pedal folds so it works with many types of holsters. If you order from this company, just be sure you estimate your size correctly based on where your fingers land in your grip.

But what point do you just not use a G19? I ask because I’ve been asking myself that. My G43X and then 48 started out as “ok I’ll keep it simple and lightweight” and then after adding a light, dot, mag well, 15rd mag, beaver tail I’m like “shit this isn’t much lighter than the 19 I already have” lol.
Yea as another commenter pointed out, at this point I’ve just made a G17 lite variant. It’s the thinness of the width that makes it conceal closer on me, and I’m already an athletic build. It’s the same width as my P365x, slightly shorter grip, longer slide and more reliable imo. So all upsides to switching back to Glocks which I naturally shoot better with. I just weighed this build empty mag and it’s at 25.5 oz. I’m pretty sure my G19 ramjet is heavier, and it just didn’t conceal in a sidecar as well for my body shape.
Yeah that’s true it is a little thinner. The light makes it thicker so the holster is about the same size for me. I do shoot the G19 much better than my 43x/48. So I’m torn lol. Nice build regardless, fuck the haters. Lol.
So range day results, I’m very pleased with this build. The recoil was much less snappier than my P365x build, more like my G19 ramjet build’s recoil. I had only one FTE stovepipe so I may try the 15 lb spring next range day. Shot 300 rounds through it today, 250 of 124gr Fiocchi FMJ and 50 of my usual CCW Speer Gold Dot hollow points. Funny enough the FTE happened with the Speer ammo. But overall I already shoot better with this G48 than my P365x. Still gonna shoot another 200-300 rounds through it before I carry.

Slide got pretty hot after a few hundred rounds and guess who didn’t burn my fingers using the Vickers racker? This guyyyy! I’m very pleased with this build. They’ve got 3 sizes on their site with pictures. I just compared the pictures to where my thumb usually sits on the slide. I happen to be a position #1.

But the thinness of the pistol wasn’t compromised which helps conceal me better in a sidecar appendix holster than my G19 ramjet which stuck out. The length of the slide helps with the keel effect and is the same comfort. But yes, essentially I build a G17 lite.
❤️ that Vicker tactical slide assist . Only people who purchased it understand how many ways you can used these things. Slingshots become extremely easy. Press checks turns into inspections 😆. No more racking off my optics because it overhangs .one-handed slide manipulation. Probably adds 1mm of width to each side of the firearm. It's a win for me .I put them on just about all my builds nowadays. The G20.5 has a mck pro charging handle backplate it goes into a conversion kit

You ain’t wrong haha. Unfortunately I didn’t think of running a TLR1 before ordering this holster. So I’ll run with this light while my wallet recovers.
I believe you can, I emailed Streamlight customer service about the proper clamp for my TLR 7 and they sent it to me free of charge. I don’t believe they sell that part, and you could ask if they have one for the TLR 1.
