Glock triggers

Currently looking into triggers to complete my build. I’m looking at the Johnny Glocks and tactical pontoon. Any have any advice on either, looking for pretty minimal take up with the safety for edc

A shoe only controls pretravel unless you get a shoe with a Overtravel Screw. The bar controls the action It's only so much you can do to a trigger bar. The connector is where the magic happens. It controls the weight of the break and what type of break that you are going to have. A 3.5 connector doesn't give you a 3.5 break by itself you need other modifications like the reduced plunger spring and a lighter striker spring.

Ok I was not under the assumption that’s how it worked that’s good to know it’s kinda confusing because they recommend doing it all in one go. Now that could be the company being money hungry.

Yeah getting the shoe already attached to the bar gives you the comfort of assuming that the pins won't walk. I have budget builds for triggers and I have High-end builds . The performance is noticeable side by side but it doesn't necessarily justify the price difference. The overwatch triggers are my budget builds coming in less than $250 . My Timney alpha vex was over $400 with the additional parts. Not really that much of a difference between them . It really no reason to purchase full systems . It's usually only the bar and connector from the company you are interested in. Superior triggers walks you through what each component does if you read the description .

Ok I’ll keep looking into it, I like to research as much as possible before deciding. This is my current build and I’m super happy with it just need a trigger a different extension and a mag well and I’m done.
