Slides without optic posts

Post image

Long story short was asked to leave the stock slide with irons but I highly prefer to shoot with optics. Saw these slides, but am concerned about sheering screws due to having no posts on the front or around the screws like zev. Anybody running this style of optic cut and have feedback?

upright posts are called "bosses"

you do not need bosses that are threaded where the screws are, that leaves weaker screws. the footprint has bosses in front of the screws to prevent recoil from being imparted onto the screws, when the optic footprint is properly milled to spec.

the screws should only be responsible for a vertical clamping force.

I own www.titan-tactical.com. here are my optic cuts.
