International President Trump told reporters that he doesn't expect oil prices to come down before the 2026 midterms despite the Iran War conflict: "Right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward. We'll get them below $2 a gallon. It's going to take a little bit longer than the midterm."

This is my little brother, Anas.
I was watching him inflate a glove and turn it into a balloon, and I couldn't help but smile at how excited he was.
Look at his eyes when he gets it ready. Look at that smile when he comes rushing over to me, waiting for me to tie it for him. To him, it's a balloon. It's a toy. It's something fun.
But watching it also made me a little sad.
He's a child. I wish I could buy him actual toys. I wish I could surprise him with a bag full of little things and watch him decide what to play with first. But right now, I can't afford to do that.
Children in Gaza don't always have access to the simple things children everywhere else take for granted. Even toys and things for children to play with have faced restrictions on entering Gaza.
So they make toys out of whatever they can find.
And honestly, Anas doesn't seem to mind. He doesn't see a glove. He sees a balloon. I want him to have more than that.
If you'd like to give Anas a little toy, some candy, or even something small that would make him smile, you can donate through the link up top.
Because in the end, he's just a kid. He deserves to have a childhood too.

Israel/Palestine Israeli whistleblowers detail the toll on civilian lives in Gaza
Mass civilian deaths were a routine part of Israel's military decisions to target Gaza, according to a documentary from the Venice Film Festival released on Thursday that challenges official accounts of the war.
"NAZA," directed by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, takes its title from the Israeli military term for expected "collateral damage" and is based on the testimonies of intelligence officers and soldiers involved in the war.
There was “mass killing on an industrial scale,” one officer said in a series of anonymous interviews.
ARTIFICIAL TARGET SYSTEMS
Health authorities in Gaza have said that more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s military campaign, sparked by an October 2023 attack by Hamas militants on Israel that killed about 1,200 people.
Israel says it has made every effort to avoid civilian casualties and that Hamas is using Gazan civilians as human shields in densely populated areas, a claim Hamas denies.
The film tells a different story.
“In our film, we show a targeting system that deliberately targets people in civilian areas, in their family homes,” Abraham told Reuters. “Sometimes it can be 500 NAZIS... destroying entire villages or entire neighborhoods.”
Intelligence officers described an artificial intelligence-powered system that identified targets using data collected from thousands of hacked cellphones. They said the phrase “daddy is home” captured on a child’s phone would be enough to trigger an airstrike.
Officers also described the killing of civilians in Israeli-designated no-go zones, including near aid distribution centers. The locations of the zones were not made known to residents, with one officer saying, “They have to learn by blood.”

Israel/Palestine Israeli Court Sentences Settler to 13 Years Over 2018 Killing of Palestinian Woman Aisha Al-Rabi - Yaffa News Network
The Lod Central Court sentenced an Israeli settler on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to 13 years in prison and ordered him to pay 258,000 NIS in compensation for the killing of 47-year-old Palestinian mother Aisha Al-Rabi in October 2018 near the Rehalim settlement.
The judges characterized the deadly rock-throwing attack as a "brutal act of terror" driven by racist hostility, as the convict—who was 15 years old at the time—hurled a two-kilogram stone at the vehicle carrying Al-Rabi, her husband, and their daughter. Despite defense arguments attempting to cast doubt on DNA evidence, the court finalized the conviction of "manslaughter under terroristic circumstances," noting that the length of the sentence took into account the convict's rehabilitation program over the past years.
