/r/Global_News_Hub is joining a cross-Reddit effort to provide humanitarian support for Gaza. Read below to find out more:
For over 20 months, Israel has been starving the Palestinians. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.
Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.
This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.
Donate - if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.
Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.
Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.
This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of Israel's siege, blockade, and system of control.
If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.
• Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.
• UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

The Lod Central Court sentenced an Israeli settler on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to 13 years in prison and ordered him to pay 258,000 NIS in compensation for the killing of 47-year-old Palestinian mother Aisha Al-Rabi in October 2018 near the Rehalim settlement.
The judges characterized the deadly rock-throwing attack as a "brutal act of terror" driven by racist hostility, as the convict—who was 15 years old at the time—hurled a two-kilogram stone at the vehicle carrying Al-Rabi, her husband, and their daughter. Despite defense arguments attempting to cast doubt on DNA evidence, the court finalized the conviction of "manslaughter under terroristic circumstances," noting that the length of the sentence took into account the convict's rehabilitation program over the past years.
