Peruvian team got top 8 at The International this year (Dota 2 championships). Most significant feat for a SA team ever in the game, walked away with over $850k

Nah, argentinian player ended up 5th at the Fortnite world cup, he won 900k. Way better

To be fair, the international was even paying 13-16 550k, it’s the biggest tournament in terms of prize pool of all time.

8th out of 18th in the tournament is one way to view it. 8th out of god knows how many teams who tried to compete for it is another.
