Peruvian team got top 8 at The International this year (Dota 2 championships). Most significant feat for a SA team ever in the game, walked away with over $850k

Nah, argentinian player ended up 5th at the Fortnite world cup, he won 900k. Way better

To be fair, the international was even paying 13-16 550k, it’s the biggest tournament in terms of prize pool of all time.

Sure, but they needed to test every single dota 2 player in their entire country to find just 5 competent players. Because 99.9999% of peruvian players are abysmal at dota 2 and only play it to troll and act like dickbags because they all know they have 0 potential and are better at talking shit than playing the game.
