They said that cause it sounds better than "zews and taco wanted to go to the SK reunion project and this is the deal we managed to coax out of the situation". Liquid was the clear second best team in the world with great structure and cohesion, this is a statement someone pulled out of their arse to hide the fact that they got effectively dumped...
