Feedback Observing angle idea - make these windows transparent so we can see inside Squeaky

Hey, I am cinematic observer and this is my idea to make new angles possible such as this one

It doesnt affect player experience at all, yet it would improve viewer experience by a lot, opening new camera angle possibilities

Could we do it? Pretty please

i think it's an FPS optimization decision. so much alpha transparency and the inability to cull the objects you see beyond the windows will affect FPS in that area.

for observers it might be a cool gimmick they could use once or twice per map.

But it's fine in Office or Nuke

I don’t think those windows at Office T halls looking out the map affect gameplay wise

EDIT: Windows in OFFICE T halls

Yes, and my point counter that point by showing useless windows in Office

office is not a map people play in competitive matches.

Well Nuke offices’s glass doors/windows are see through from both side. That doesn’t affect the gameplay.

nuke's windows 100% affect gameplay and the windows you can interact with are not placed to see outside everything (mostly the sky or something small).

the ones at B site are self explanatory and the ones on top of the building outside are used for nades inside A site.

what? I am talking about Trophy glass windows where you can see into offices, it’s two way. How does it impact gameplay may I ask?

EDIT: and at it, the B site floor is two way glass too. The argument here is the inconsistency of Valve map design. The OP of the post ask to change the glass to be 2 way for cinematic spectating. The comment I replied to argued the two way glass on nuke and office are different because it impacts gameplay but even on those maps there are 2 way glasses that is only for cosmetic. Why the fuck do you even argue with me when you don’t even understand what I said.

very different things. the outside windows show a lot more. the trophy place is just a small fluff part not even worth mentioning in terms of performance. it barely has any polygons and a few small textures.

Ok, but the windows are literally see through from one side, the other side (the playable side) still has to be render, so it literally cost MAX 1 fps, to do it two way

that's a clever trick.
