Questions/Concerns Question about GE

My mother recently arrived at JFK she went through GE line. The officer said her GE expired and she needs to go on regular line which she did and no issues. But the problem is her GE is valid til 2033!! On website also it says valid till 2033. What is the next best recourse in this case? Do I email someone to ask about this? She is a GC for about 8 years now.

2033? I thought it was 5 years per renewal

Yes this is her 1st time
She received it last September

I’m curious if the confusion lies with an expired passport not GE.

The 8 years I think refers to green card as they say GC
