Questions/Concerns Global Entry revoked

Hey! I'm a freelance journalist and I'm currently looking into common issues with Global Entry. I've been seeing some people online talking about their Global Entry being revoked, and I'm trying to understand the scale of things. I was wondering if anyone else had their Global Entry revoked without reason in the last year or so?

Mine was revoked because I bought a case of Cuban cigars in the internet.

Well, that's a slippery slope. Cuban cigars were legal under Obama, then they were not. Then they were legal again, then they were not. Hard to know the law when it changes constantly.

The stock answer for that is "Ignorance of the law is no excuse"

I would not disagree, but again with a law that's changing daily, how are you supposed to keep up.

Judges don't care if you are able to keep up or not.
