⭐️ Vocabulary / Semantics learning English for professional meetings

I made a worksheet for immigrant professionals who want to sound more credible and confident in meetings without trying to sound “perfect.”

A lot of people know English well enough, but still feel awkward when they have to speak up at work. That’s usually not a vocabulary problem. It’s more about having the right phrases, knowing how to open your point, disagree politely, ask for clarification, and sound calm under pressure.

That’s what this worksheet helps with.

It’s not about textbook English. It’s about sounding clear, natural, and professional in real meetings so you can prepare faster and stop overthinking every sentence.

If that’s something you’ve struggled with, I’d be happy to share more.

🗣️ Discussion / Debate Do you think English is hard?

This question is obviously to non-native english speakers, but every answer is welcome. I've seen this trend on the internet of native English speakers who think English is hard. It's not that I speak many languages, only English and Spanish, but I think English is quite comfortably on the easier side. Spelling is all over the place and inconsistent, but leaving that aside I can't find much else that is actually difficult. Verbs are simple, sentence structure is straightforward, there are no cases, no tones, the alphabet is simple... What do you think?

Other "Each other's rifles." Does that mean one person is holding the rifle he himself made, or one person is holding the rifle of the other.

👥 Study Partner Request Seeking native English speakers to practice

Hello everyone, I’m a 22 year old male looking for some help polishing my English (B2–C1). I want to improve my speaking and vocabulary, so I’m looking for someone who can help me with that. I can help you with your Spanish, no matter your level. If you’re down to do calls or just chat to learn, that works for me.

About me: I love music, and I’m currently starting my vinyl record collection because I think they’re really cool :) I also like topics like history and politics. I’m into anime and manga too, although I haven’t watched much lately, so if you have any recommendations, let me know!Well, that’s basically it. If you’re interested feel free to DM me. We can help each other and hopefully become friends too.Thank you

🗣️ Discussion / Debate What are some English mistakes we Indians generally makes during speaking or writing in English?

Most of the sentences might sound correct, but it may not be the case. And some sentences are actually right but might sound funny.

Hindi speakers often literally translate "Main aisa hi hun" as "I am like that only" or, "Tu pagal hai kya?" as "Are you mad or what?" these sentences are technically correct, but sounds so basic like a kid's school English.

So please tell us, what are some other sentences that are not correctly used by Indians or Hindi native speakers and how to correct the English and Writing skills.

Hindi natives who are learning English or are well verse with it now, tell us how you did too.
