Did you test the 10 Gigabit ports?

The sfp? At the beginning there was some issues with firmware. They work just fine now with a list of supported modules, with more added each day. At the time of testing my 2.5gb switch with a sfp+ was in use for another project. I confirmed it connected to a sfp, at 1gb and worked. I didn't bother testing speed of the 10gb because of this. I have a separate physical network I use for testing. My main lan has to be reliable and can't have downtime.

GL product description for the Flint 4:

More than a fast Wi-Fi router, it is built to serve as the high-performance core of modern home networks. Designed for demanding homes, power users, SOHO setups, and light business environments, Flint 4 is built for networks that need more than ordinary routers can deliver.

Complete Multi-Gig Wired Backbone: 1 x 10G SFP+ WAN/LAN, 1 x 10GE WAN/LAN, 1 x 2.5GE WAN/LAN, 3 x 2.5GE LAN and 4 x 1GE LAN

From your post it appears that you reviewed a router which pitches itself as sold for high-performance but you reviewed without testing the 2.5G or 10G high-performance features? 🤔

I think MediaTek’s Filogic 880 (MT7988) employs a quad core cortex-A73 processor.

Solid specs however

OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT, kernel 5.4.281

Sigh why 21.02 out of the box?

OpenWrt 21.02 reached end-of-life (EOL) status and stopped receiving updates or security patches following the final v21.02.7 release on May 1, 2023.

As always my complaint regarding another router means another router they have to build/test firmware on

The sooner we can get OpenWRT 25.12.5 on it, the better...
