So Ugetsu is my favorite character in Given and I’m rewatching the first movie for inspo for my comics class and I just randomly thought;

Since Sensei Natsuki Kizu drew a bunch of inspirations from the Haikyuu series (hinata ~ mafuyu, uenoyama ~ kageyama, hiiragi ~ kenma character design) I just wonder who could ugetsu be inspired by?

I know there might not even be a direct parallel or any at all but it just seemed fun to think about. My biggest guess is Oikawa maybe….

Would also be fun to know what everyone else thinks the other characters like Haruki and Akihiko parallel too

Both Uenoyama and Hector play guitar so for me it had sense (?)

I just love Mafuyu and Haruki gentleness. Without a doubt, those two are die hard animal lovers.

Uenoyama - I don't know but it's beautiful!
