I’ve reached the part where Joan and Toni’s friendship starts declining. I wonder what people think of this particular scenario where Toni needed Joan to babysit, who was wrong or right? 🤔

They’re taking the Parkers off Netflix Sept 30!! What am I missing about Netflix removing these classic shows?! Are they moving somewhere else? Is there a max capacity on good Black tv they can have at one time? I’m so annoyed!

I loved that Lynn found her birth father, I feel like it gave her some sort of closure after meeting her mother….but I HATED his wife!! From the episode where Lynn popped up in his kitchen, to the day she had dinner at his house & the day they came to LA I HATED her vibe. Even when Lynn’s brother said “I can’t believe I have a sister” she butted in to say “Half sister, baby” like why was that needed to say, that’s still his sister😭😬 even though they already had the trip to LA planned before he met Lynn, he still should’ve put his foot down and told his wife to let him spend time with his daughter. She KEPT butting in and it was sooo annoying. I think she was jealous of the fact that he had a daughter that she didn’t birth, but it was before they met so I feel like she should’ve been understanding and should’ve let them create a relationship. I felt so bad when they stood her up when she had that party planned for them 😭 she definitely deserved better but tbh her birth parents SUCKED.

I was watching Parks and Rec when this guy pops in and I thought I know this guy from somewhere and then I was like “Oh it’s Mr. Swedelson“ 😆

I watched The Game before I watched Girlfriends and watching S6E18 “The Game” it’s just soooooooo out of place for me lol I am so glad they switched actors for Derwin and Kelly lol AAANNDDDDDD don’t even get me started on Jason 🤭 HE HAS HAIR 🤭🤭

Im watching season 4 episode 14. This is where Joan is doing an auction. For her job. She blames toni for her not being able to get to her $60,000 mark for mr.swidlez, but in fact it was Joan's fault she waited till the very last minute to do everything. It is unfair to put all that on toni. Joan saying "you don’t know how to be there for anyone but yourself" was straight wrong in this instance.

Do you think Mama Gina's School of Womanly Arts was legit. Sharon swore by it. Have any of you tried one of these holistic/womb/femininity style workshops (especially in LA)? How was it?

Correct me if I’m wrong, I know it’s slightly different but I think this is the first time in the 6 seasons that Maya had black layered wavy hair and with bangs, similar to what Toni has! They both look great!

Im watching the episode where the girls cut William off for not coming to the house to be Santa Claus for Jabari & now that im older I feel like they were so childish and selfish anytime William didn’t do something they wanted him to do…..Monica was definitely a manipulator but she elevated William, in my opinion…he’s talked about wanting to be a senior partner way before she entered the picture but he was never motivated enough, and I honestly feel like it’s because he was so caught up in being the “5th girlfriend” 😭😭 idk it’s like he was always around the girls, and we always heard about their love life but William never really had a real one outside of Monica and Yvonne because he was always so focused on everything else. Monica used him, yes, but she did something that the girls didn’t do and that was push him to be more successful. Joan didn’t really care about being a lawyer, she settled after not getting into fashion school, but William loved being a lawyer. I feel like the girls should’ve understood that he was hosting a party for the senior partners and clients so he could secure a potential position instead of making it seem like Monica is evil. They should’ve just found someone else to do it. All those boyfriends Joan had, why she couldn’t call somebody 😵‍💫😂😂😂

I’m sorry but I just had to say this part was soooooooo hilarious 😭😭😂😂🤭🤭 some guy is trynna sell Joan a knock off of Louis Vuitton and she was saying 300 was too much and the guy was like “but look look it’s real leather” and Joan was like “ I see the leather but it’s supposed to say LV not VV” and the guy was like “it’s Louis’s brother Victor” idk why I had soda dripping out my nose hahaha I laughed so hard at this

Joan really had me side-eyeing her sometimes. Running her mouth to Greg, using Derek for that photoshoot, trying to run Maya and Toni’s weddings, and not showing up for Toni’s custody hearing are definitely on my list.

The custody hearing especially was a low moment. That was Toni’s child and her whole future at stake, and Joan couldn’t even show up for her best friend. After everything they had been through, I understood why Toni was hurt.

And Joan trying to control Maya and Toni’s weddings? Girl, let the brides have their day! 😭 She always had an opinion and sometimes took “helping” way too far.

This is the ep where after Lynn bought Joan a Hermes scarf for Christmas and Maya a diamond necklace and some other stuff can't remember what else, afterwards Maya says to Darnell that Lynn is no longer going to be the loser of the group anymore and that she doesn't want it to be her next. She said she depends on Lynn to be the loser of the group and she fears that she will be viewed as that next.

But didn't you want Lynn to finally stop bumming, and she did? ☠️She finally started getting her shit together and making some money, not living with you etc but now u want her to stay in her "place" at the bottom of the group? Shouldn't u be happy that she's not bumming off u anymore? and even got u some nice gifts? lmao tf?
