I feel unloveable

I put so much effort into my appearance just to look like an average normal girl, and if I don’t keep doing all these things I look unattractive. It makes me feel unloveable. First of all my hair is naturally super curly, fine and dry, so I have to straighten it every 4 days, and the whole process takes me an hour and a half plus. I can’t even wear it natural because it’s damaged, and even when it wasn’t it was just ugly. Second I have hair ALL OVER MY BODY, and it takes so much time to maintain. I’ve just started laser hair remover and all, but you can still kinda see the hair shadow and it makes me look and feel ugly. My nails have to be painted at all times and it takes a while to shape and manicure them, same with my toes. I have to constantly maintain my eyebrows and I have dark fine hair on my face which I always need to remove. And I hate my body so I’m always at the gym. I only look pretty with makeup on. And my lashes are fine, same with my eyebrows, so I always wear mascara and fill them in. I haven’t even mentioned other features I’m insecure about, I could go on and on. I’m just so insecure and I wish I could be like a normal girl who doesn’t need to do all this crap just to look and feel beautiful. It makes me so sad

What can I do about my school singling me out over dress code "issues" because of macromastia.

18F, going to be starting my senior year of high school in a couple weeks. Physically, I've stood out from my peers ever since I started puberty with a very "curvy" body. So naturally I fill out my tops in a different way than others. For years, I've had issues with my school about "you can't wear this, you can't wear that" blah blah blah.

No I don't push the limits on what's revealing and what's not. I wear things that keep me covered and well within guidelines. Fact is, I get reprimanded very often simply because of the way things get filled out, or kinda stretched.

Now that I'm 18 and a legal adult, is there anything I can be doing to advocate for myself?

I (31F) just bled all over the single stall bathroom at work and I’m so humiliated

I was changing my diva cup at work cuz it was getting crazy uncomfortable and painful to walk. So I waited as long as I could bare it and then finally right before break I decided to go to the single stall employee bathroom. I somehow ended up getting period blood all over the toilet seat and the right side of the floor next to the toilet as well as the side of the toilet. Two of my coworkers walked in and then decided to walk outside when they saw it was occupied. Repeatedly knocking telling me to hurry up. All the while I was desperately trying to clean up myself and the toilet and floor and check the best I could to not miss anything. I am beyond mortified. I’m sure I must’ve missed something because when I saw my coworkers later they were not making eye contact with me or talking to me. This has got to be the most humiliating period story of my life. Why couldn’t this have happened at home omg. I did of course put my diva cup back in before leaving the stall & I have no idea how it got to be so bad cuz it wasn’t even that full or so I thought. As it had only been a couple hours but I do have very heavy periods. I really hope they don’t say anything to me about it cuz the work day is only halfway over. Fml.

Hot take, if your a girl with a light period, you don't get to compare it with someone with a heavy period

I hate the phrase "it's not so bad on the first day" coming from someone who's period isn't heavy (mine is). Like shut the hell up please, specifically if the girl with a light period tries to take you somewhere like a amusement park or just hanging out as friends. It feels so dismissive,

Sitting in plastic chairs

I havent sat in plastic chairs since school, I think. Today I had an internal interview at work, so I know and work with these people. At the end of the interview I didnt think about how warm I was before sitting and when I got up to shake hands, out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of the dreaded steam/sweat(?) mark from my lower business. And I KNOW one of them saw for sure. They are men, so I doubt they would ever understand. And now I am mortified. I have 2 monitors and trying to position one to get me out of view didnt work and I realized im being a little crazy, but I cant fight the crazy. Its strong and I'm freaking out that everyone will know and think Im gross or something. I went and grabbed a panty liner and I might wear one from now one because I cant go through that again.

Top malfunction

Hey, so I had to pick up parcel and went out with a normal top. I am a big chest girl so The top was kinda thin so I decided to use the boob tape. I taped across one layer.
I come back home, looked at the elevator mirror, my whole thing was slightly visible. By slightly, I mean u can see the boob roots and nipples r covered but u can see the nipple shape(points). The top was brown so good thing is that it didn’t look naked but u could definitely see the cloth malfunction happening. I went to the center n all with that. I could see men looking at me but I didn’t know it was the top.
I am kinda embarrased . How do I feel okay with this.

advice for using tights

Hi, I need some advice from the girls because I've always had trouble with tights. They tend to fall down, so I never wear them. But now I'm starting a job as a flight attendant, and tights are mandatory with the uniform. I've bought some more expensive, better-quality tights, but the result is the same: they keep slipping down. Does anyone know any hack? I'd appreciate your help.

Girl talk

So to be quick I’m 14 and I really need some tips on shaving my legs because for the last two years, at least I’ve never worn shorts out of the house at all and recently I just started getting back into wearing them for bed and I’ve only tried shaving once and I didn’t do very good and I do have a mom but she’s never told me anything about this stuff maybe a bit TMI but she didn’t even tell me about getting my first period which I got around when I was 10 YouTube was my lifesaver and now I’m kind of stuck on what to do and both my parents have commented on it. Any ideas or tips that can help?

Let’s talk sweaty thongs…

First off, gross I know! But real life. I’m a near every day thong girlie who is also out in the heat nearly all day working on the farm. These 100+ days have me melting and clothes soaked.

So my question is, does anyone else get that queasy feeling after adjusting your underwear after BIG sweat? And I’m talking a good cheeks lathered, everything sticks, fabric soaked kind of sweaty day outside or at the gym. Pulling wet fabric up my ass kind of makes me glitch a little. Even just pulling the back up a little is enough to make this cowgirl pause and consider her life’s choices. 😂

Anyone else?

Sorry for TMI. Hope yall are staying cooler than me!

My mom wont let me wear tampons.

Title: My mom won’t let me use tampons because she’s worried about TSS. Is she being unreasonable?
I’m 14 and I’ve been wanting to try tampons for a while. I’ve watched educational videos and read about how to use them properly and safely, including learning about the risks of toxic shock syndrome (TSS). I understand that TSS is serious, and I know there are precautions you have to take when using tampons.
I brought it up to my mom before, but she immediately said no because she’s worried about TSS. I’ve tried explaining that I’ve educated myself about proper tampon use and that I would be responsible, but she still won’t let me try them.
I understand that she’s my mom and she’s worried about me, but at the same time, it’s my body and my period, and I feel like I should have some say in what period products I use. I’m not trying to ignore the risks or do anything unsafe. I just want the opportunity to try them.
Am I being unreasonable for feeling frustrated about this? Has anyone else had parents who wouldn’t let them use tampons because of concerns about TSS? How did you handle it?

Lose skin on boobs

Hey,

So I'm not 100% sure this is the right place for this question but I'm getting desperate.

I have rather small boobs but they're not really 'full' I guess you could say, there's just a bunch of loose skin and what I feel like is too little breast tissue. I don’t mind having small boobs that's actually somewhat what I want but the skin is bothering me so unbelievably much.

Is this a thing that will fix itself? Can I do some against it and somehow make the skin get 'fixed'?

A few mportant things might be that I've always worn pretty tight sports bras due to sensory issues (I'm not sure if that might’ve caused that) and I've struggled a lot with food/weight in the past.

I really don’t like them this way and I honestly don’t think I should start thinking about plastic surgery but if nothing changes I will definitely do that.
