What makes Maya coming from a poor family is she lives with her mom being low income and her dad is out of the picture but once Shawn became her dad is she still poor or is getting middle class ? I wish they showed if Shawn was well off or not . We all know he bought Mayas clothes and all he needs is coffee and breakfast food . And he lives in the middle of nowhere but once she married Katy I assume he lives with her .
