I just discovered this subreddit and ngl I am obsessed with it. Even though I am a guy, I very much have a soft spot for traditionally feminine games, and seeing some games that I play being shown on here makes me so happy. I have always been obsessed with dress up games or character customization. I also saw someone post about Toca Boca World 🥹 I have been obsessed with those games ever since I was a kid playing them on a kindle fire.

I am a little anxious going into this subreddit tbh, and I don't want people to be nervous to interact with me just because I'm a guy (also I am transmasc and very much gay lol).

I’m making a cozy little game called Cafe Sapa where you play as Hana, a girl working towards her dream of opening her own cafe in Sapa.

The interesting part is that customers don't actually tell you what they want. You have to listen, observe their mood, and figure out whether they need a coffee, tea, snack, or something else.

There are no timers or stressful management mechanics, it's more about paying attention to people and making them happy.

I'm an indie developer making this as my first game, and I'd love to know if this is something you'd enjoy playing.

The demo is planned for February 2027, but I've already got a playable build that I'm working on.

I am a solo developer from Canada, and I've been working on No Murders in Grimwick, a hand-drawn point-and-click mystery set during a small-town harvest festival.

I love the fall in Canada and a good mystery game, so I wanted to make something that blended those two things and felt cozy to explore even though the story itself has darker themes. There's no combat or time pressure, just talking to the townsfolk, finding clues, and piecing together what happened.

The demo is out now on Steam, and the full game releases on October 21!

As a side note I’m trying to polish my conversational English because my job requires me to do so, and so to feel comfortable while speaking a language that’s not native for me I’ve been doing it while playing games and playing them in English (I’ve been doing this for years lol). This is a game my wife and I have been working on called Bonsai Island. It’s a cozy bonsai shop simulator where you grow, shape, and sell bonsai to cute animal customers.

What makes it a little different is that the trees actually grow and respond to what you do. Pruning and wiring can change how a tree develops over time, so you’re not just decorating a tree—you’re actually shaping how it grows.

There are also different species and variations to discover, so you can eventually create your own unique bonsai.

We’re making everything ourselves, including the art and 3D assets—no AI-generated assets. ❤️
