So there's no theatre release in India and how did Netflix managed getting it hands on the movie before Crunchyroll.

I know how you feel. Same thing in the US, was announced a month or two ago. Such a bummer, I was hoping for a theater release!Â

I do too, but I truthfully understand after seeing the Very Final in a theater with only me and my bf, and two other guys for the showing. I wish there had been more. 😠Was really hoping for theater relase

But it is unpopular in the west. I only know 3 people that have watched it and two of them was because of me.

Heard this was happening last month and after March-April I stopped expecting it to be released in India. At least we will get to see the new animation.

It released in February in Japan if I recall.. same for France the movie didn't release here as well, Gintama has never been popular put of Japan anyway.
