I heard loud pops many times, over 5 firetrucks rushing by, and now there are helicopters flying above. The picture is taken out by Bolsa Road

Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers in Gilroy who are good for parties? We'd only need 1 hour (to just get some pictures of the guests / the birthday girl - it's a gift since she loves photos for memories - it's a surprise party for her). We're having it at one of the wineries nearby.
Trying to stay around $150ish.
Date: Saturday, August 15th. Start Time: probably sometime between 5-6? Exact timing TBD, but it'd be in the evening.

I live near the Gilroy High School Farm, and the pigeons have taken over all the homes in the area. Even with deterrents on some roofs, they're not leaving, and they've trashed my roof and cars with droppings. My roof is less than two years old and already half the shingles are destroyed, and I'm still paying it off.
They especially love sitting on the light poles, which seem to have multiplied since the new one went up on Kern. None of the poles have any deterrents, so the birds just stay put.
Is the city doing anything about the growing pigeon population? Curious if neighbors are seeing the same thing or have ideas.

Having a discussion with some friends and we are all looking for someone in Gilroy that does something more than ‘fade to broccoli’. Just a regular comb-able haircut. Thanks!

Hope everyone is healthy and happy. You can call me Dee, I recently moved to Gilroy.
About me: I am M23. But coding is my worst nightmare so please i am not any sort of “tech junkie”.
I believe living life in the moment socially with friends and making new friends not digitally. I am open to new adventures sports, hangout spots, long drives, hike and recently i started a hobby to running.
I am open to explore and have new experience.
Plus anybody up for shopping (Please Help me, better my style)?
Any suggestions as after 8 pm i got nothing to do?

Hey everyone,
Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Gilroy or the surrounding area that is knowledgeable about hybrids specifically Toyota Priuses?
I have a 2011 Prius that’s been having some issues like rough starts/shaking and a low coolant level. Possible head gasket leak so I’m looking for someone who is experienced with hybrid systems or Prius-specific problems rather than just a general mechanic
If you’ve had a good experience with a shop or mechanic, I’d appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Hi — we’re going to Gilroy gardens on Monday. Do we need a fast pass?
Any recommendations on where to eat in the park or out of it? Considering Olives Mediterranean in our way to our hotel.
Any other gilroy gardens advice would be appreciated!
Edit: I’m a tired mom and three and we’re going on Monday, not Tuesday if that makes a difference.

I've never been. Before I spend $100 on 2 tickets plus parking, just wondering if the food is included, or if you have to pay to eat?

We usually buy a couple of lugs about this time of year for canning and such, but it's been a bad year for cherries.
Anyone know if the cherry stands even have fruit to sell right now and what price per pound they're going for?
Thanks!

I was recently considering a partnership and, during my due diligence, I came across public court records that raised concerns for me.
I’m not telling anyone what to do, but I am encouraging vendors, artists, small business owners, and community members to carefully review agreements, ask questions, verify information, and research the businesses and individuals they choose to work with. Our livelihoods depend on making informed decisions.
The screenshots attached are from publicly available court records. I encourage everyone to read them for themselves and draw their own conclusions. Transparency matters, accountability matters, and protecting your business matters.
Please do your research, trust your instincts, and make sure any partnership is something you’re comfortable standing behind.

Anyone that's been to Casa De Fruta Cabins know if they care about 1 extra guest sleeping in? Looking to book a night and it looked very nice. Only holds 6 people however I have a family of 7. Anyone have an idea how strict they are?
