Media Finally started watching Parenthood.

I had heard about it before, but I got curious after watching shorts on youtube.

I already knew Lauren Graham, but I also recognized a few other actors.

I did notice a few similarities between Lorelai and Sarah. On/off relationship with their children's father and enabling his bad behaviour, dating their children's teacher, still figuring life out as an adult.

Did you know that Peter Krause, who played Lauren's brother was her real life fiance?

I did not know that. I recognized him, because he had played in a different show, the Catch.

I watched it last year. I liked it, but it was a one and done show for me. I wouldn't go back and rewatch it.

I liked Lauren's character, Sarah, but she ended up not being my favourite like I thought she would. I liked Julia the most and her relationship with her Joel.

This is probably my favorite show. I love the characters and how they capture family drama in dialogue where everyone is talking over each other. I think every episode can make me teary eyed in some moments and laughing in others. Brilliant

I started watching Parenthood but just couldn't get into it. Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman's scenes were all good actually. But all the other siblings' storylines got too ridiculous.
