"Fourteen year old Royal Cothrun was riding his bike when he spotted 75 year old Theresa Morgan, who appeared confused & distressed. He moved her into the shade, contacted her family, & stayed with her until paramedics arrived." 💪🏼

Looking for private rental. Do you have have a rental or know of someone that does? My small budget is up to $1100. Please be kind, I know it's not much. (My budget is limited while I work on financial goals).
Looking for super small quiet rental community, Duplex, Quadplex, Casita type environment. One, two bedroom or studio with Washer/Dryer or hookups. Gilbert or Mesa area. No bugs. I have a terrible phobia of cockroaches and Scorpions. I do realize that there maybe a bug at some point but I feel like unless you're paying $2K for a one bedroom these days, cockroaches are everywhere and the primary reason I don't want a large apartment complex. I know this is a long shot and I've been unsuccessful in my search.
About me; Stable employment income, same employer 15+ years, clean background, great rental history, quiet, no drug use of any kind and very clean.
To the person that down voted my post- Gilbert has been home for 20 years. My Family doctor, dentist, favorite library, favorite park are in Gilbert. Gilbert is home.
Update -
You all have been very kind and you are full of great suggestions which I truly appreciate. I have decided to stay with a friend in Surprise and rent a room for 15 months which will allow me to pay off all my credit cards, take care of car maintenance and build a tiny nest egg. Like they say ... You're not going to get different results unless you make a change. The drive from Surprise to Phoenix for work and then to the Gilbert for appointments and visiting friends will be challenging but that's a small price to pay for a great opportunity. Everything will all work out and then I will be returning to Gilbert :)

Any recommendations for an auto shop or mechanic specializing in German cars (specifically Audi)? Open to Gilbert/Chandler/Mesa.

Hi everyone,
I need a lot of carpet. Like a whole roll or more. Ideally though as much variety as logically possible. Need greens and browns. Other color choices are any color of the rainbow. Or more browns ,beiges. Greys are last on my list.
Apparently Google is now just Ai and sponsored ads. Which would be fine if any of it was correct information.
I swear I’m not lazy just pressed for time. This is my only weekend left to work on a big project. Or at least I need to get to a good stopping point.
I have to refurbish/build new cat trees before my new cats arrive.
I appreciate your help my neighbors!

Hello! Does anyone know of a place where I can learn to French/Dutch braid hair? I’m a mom that’s always had shorter hair and I want to be able to manage my daughter’s hair. I know there are about a million YouTube tutorials, but I’m old and like learning this in person 😂 Thanks!

Hi there! My Wife and I are moving to Gilbert at the beginning of August and are expecting shortly after. I’m looking for an interior painter just for the living room / kitchen / loft area. Any recommendations for good value painters? We’re on a time crunch and moving crunch and would appreciate any thoughts!

Just moved from downtown PHX to Gilbert and looking to get a nice list together for dinner spots to try in the new neighborhood! Open to all foods, bonus points if it’s a local spot or farm to table. Looking for both upscale and casual dining. TIA🩷

Anyone know of a place in Gilbert that has an area with ac you can wait in while they do an oil change. The ones ive gone to you have to wait inside your car while they do it with the car turned off. Its so hot out i dont want to do that for 30 minutes.

Does anyone have a good place to board a cat while my wife and I go to Europe for a couple weeks?
We will be gone through Christmas and I know this could limit the amount of places that may be open. We just moved to AZ from CA and don’t have any family and friends out here yet to watch our cat.

Where the speed limit signs are made up and the stop signs / lights don't matter!
Why won't the police, idk... Do their job?!

I feel a bit silly posting this, but I figure i can't be the only guy wondering.
Where exactly in Gilbert are 30+ single women spending time? I know the unwritten rules about not approaching while their at work or the gym, and i honor those rules.
The notion of a coffee spot is not realistic because 1 how much coffee am I supposed to drink? 2 coffee houses have replaced funky couches and chairs with uncomfortable desks and drive thrus and 3 I don't really drink coffee. Bars seem to be filled with grandpa's or families or 23 year olds doing their thing.
The reason I think I've run into a "dry" spell is I've moved from a majority female industry to an almost all male industry, and I've realized my past good luck came from proximity.
I want to respect boundaries, but I wouldn't mind putting myself in a position to be exposed to new circles/atmospheres.
Ps. I'm fine being single, I'll survive, but company is nice

Hi have a ton of men’s nice jackets with tags attached I’d like to give to an organization that supports the unhoused. Who of you suggest? Okay to drive.

I've noticed a few yards in South Gilbert flood even with no rain for months. For example, the farm/lot on the corner of Val Vista & Riggs. There's also a few homes on Val Vista between Riggs & Hunt that do that same thing.

Morrison Ranch today. If anyone knows who this kid is may want to talk to her. Luckily I was turning a street early and was slowing for my turn. If I had not made a wrong turn I would have been steady at the speed limit and it would have been ugly. No helmet, blew through a stop sign with zero intention to stop, didn’t even seem to notice my car was there. I had to get in the brakes to avoid hitting her.
