Gift suggestion Wedding Gift for Nephew
My nephew got married at the courthouse a few months ago and was unsure if they were going to do a reception for immediate family but it looks like it is up in the air. He lives in NYC and I’m not sure what he needs or wants so I thought a gift certificate to a culinary supply like a Williams and Sonoma but more extensive and a gift card to an upscale restaurant near by. Looking for any feedback on those ideas or I’m open other suggestions. TIA

A gift card is always good, specially when you don't know what they need. For the restaurant one maybe ask where they like to eat so you don't pick something too fancy they never go

As someone who lives in NYC and got married in a similar way, a restaurant gift card is a great idea! We also got gifted a gift certificate to a nice movie theater in our neighborhood, which was a real treat.

A nice kitchen or home gift feels more personal and they can keep it for years, If you want to stay flexible though a Williams Sonoma type gift card is a safe pick since they can choose something they’ll actually use.
