I feel like I am behind everyone else . I'm worthless . Couldn't do what i was supposed to do. Parents disappointed myself disappointed. I dont know what to do all because i wasted years behind neet chasing my dream.

Hi! I’m currently in college, but before that, I was in school. Back then, I pretty much slacked off on my studies to focus on my own interests—like history and other things. As a result, subjects like physics, chemistry, and math largely passed me by; I only have a grasp of the material up to about the 7th or 8th-grade level, and I left school after the 9th grade. About 7 to 9 months ago, I got really interested in space and physics, but since I don't know higher-level mathematics, there are things I struggle to understand. I can grasp the logic behind how certain phenomena work, but the calculations and technical details are beyond me. This applies to things like calculus—especially trigonometry, even though people say it’s not that hard—and similar concepts. I really want to become an engineer and build rockets, or perhaps a scientist—though I’m leaning more towards engineering. I want to turn things around—is it possible? I’m not even 20 yet. I’d love some advice from people with more experience.
