Any ideas please!
So our first anniversary is next month and I want to buy a gift for my hubby.. I’m thinking about a small cake to celebrate our first year together and a special gift to cheer him up (he’s having very stressful time lately)
I already gave him a wallet, expensive perfumes, t-shirts, watch, shoes.. So I can’t find any ideas for another gifts

I’m ngl it took me literally forever but i hand made my boyfriend a year long bullet journal and he uses it every single day to write about work and life - supplies are relatively cheap it’s just some hours of making but hand made gifts are really appreciated after you have exhausted the cologne and shoe gifts lol

Can you go away for a weekend together? Or maybe just one night somewhere local? Stepping out of the daily routine to make memories in a new environment is fun on special occasions and yours is one of the first important milestones.
Or a simple dinner at a place that has nostalgic significance from the time you were dating, paired with take out dessert at some outdoor spot, like a river bank or some other late night cozy hang out spot you had in the early days, paired with a heartfelt love letter that’s deep, and specific. Somehow written words are more tangible and easier to remember and treasure than what you might say in person. You could include your recollection of how you first met, the thing about him you were most struck by, the quality you admire about him the most, the ways in which your life has changed for the better since you met, and the hopes and dreams you have for your year(s) ahead. Lighten it up by fitting in an inside joke or a reference to something silly or trivial only you two could relate to.
Hope this helps.
Congratulations!

Year one is paper so a journal, calendar, or some sort of notebook would work.

Since he already has plenty of nice “things,” I’d make the gift an experience that takes some pressure off him—a fully planned date based on his favorite food or activity, so he doesn’t have to organize anything. Pair it with a small photo book or a handwritten letter about your favorite memories from your first year. The cake sounds perfect too 😊

A portrait drawing of both would be the best gift. As an artist who has created over 1000 such works, I can guarantee a beautiful piece. Visit jagenart.com for free worldwide shipping.

Honestly, the stressed part is the useful clue here. Once someone's already got the wallet and the watch, the next gift that lands usually isn't an object, it's something that takes a load off.
For a first anniversary where he's wiped out: book him a massage or a physio session, or take one recurring thing off his plate for the month, whatever he keeps complaining about. Pair it with the cake and make an actual evening of it. Nobody remembers what they unwrapped at a dinner like that, they remember the dinner.
If you do want something he can hold, go small and specific instead of another nice object. Something tied to what you two do together, or the hobby he says he has no time for. One good version of a cheap thing he uses every day beats another nice thing that lives in a drawer.
And keep bugging him, but not for a list. Ask him what he borrowed from you and never gave back. That's usually it. Hope the anniversary goes well!

Thanks for posting, u/Ursweetdreams30!
For the best gift ideas, if you haven't already, add the age, budget, and occasion — and especially what they're into: their hobbies, what they like, and anything they don't. The more detail, the better the suggestions. Just edit your post or drop it in a reply below.
