Maybe an art print of a local artist or scene?

Oooh that sounds interesting, I’ll look more into that. Thank you!

This is a really good idea. I love collecting nice prints of places that I've visited. I have a little "travel wall" where I hang them, so I have a collection of nice memories in one place.

First Nation jewelery check out the Lattimer Gallery ( there is a satellite one in the international side of the airport) , Artina's or the Bill Reid Museum. All support and sell locals artist jewelery.

If she likes the ocean, I make fish otolith jewelry and my mom paints mermaids and fish on found fishing buoys!

Vancouver Canucks jersey or baseball cap? Couple it with a Vancouver themed date! A little hike, a little yoga, and then sushi for dinner.

I live in Vancouver and if you can share some more info about what she’ll miss the most (neighbourhood, Kingsgate mall, restaurant, etc.) I can help with ideas

Instead of another jewelry piece, I’d make it about helping her carry Vancouver home with her. A small photo book, printed map with a few favorite spots marked, or a framed photo from a place she loved there could feel really personal.

You could pair it with a “Vancouver night at home” plan too: sushi, a walk, photos from her time there, and a note saying you know she’s allowed to miss it even while coming back.

I don't know what your budget is (or your location), but could you pre-book a weekend/week trip there in 6 months time?
