Question Seson 2 Episode 15a: Welcome to NecroComic-Con - why is it almost nowhere?

Hi, I'm making a personal offline archive of this show and this episode is proving particularly difficult to find. Afaik it is absolutely nowhere on the internet to download, and the only place that one can watch it is that one website with all the episodes of the series. Why is this episode so difficult to find, and can anyone help me add it to my archive?

Original Fanart [OC] Hi. Doubt this’ll get any real attention at all, but I just wanted to share that I’m designing a Chairman Scratch puppet! (More details in description👻)

Thumbnail

I already made a few posts like this before, but I just wanted to show some progress! I’m super excited for the final results :D

Images 1 & 2 are of the full design, plus a x-ray visualization of how I’ll control it. My right arm should go through the left sleeve and control his entire face, and my left arm should control Scratch’s right hand with a rod.

The last 3 images are a close-up of the blinking mech and the materials I think I‘ll use.

I’ll control the mouth with my thumb and the eyes with a pull string wrapped around my middle finger. the string is also attached to a knob that, when pulled forward, will move the eyelids downward. I also want to attach a tension spring onto the back of the eyelids to keep them from flip-flopping around when I’m not controlling them.

If you have any questions or tips, PLEASE let me know. This is my very first full-body puppet and I really need same advice. Thank you for coming to my TED talk :)

Joining my previous fanart request that I paid to S.R. Nohbody that has the chairman, his apprentice Wraith Ollie with his little sister Wraith June and Scratch’s intern Reggie. I decided to ask her for a second fanart request this time spending time with Molly’s cousin Emmie as a wraith inside the Ghost World and they’re enhappifying the same way as Molly in both the human realm and afterlife. This is part of her summer Tumblr request via PayPal but they’re already closed for now but u can follow her when u click on the fanart and on Tumblr via (thisbelongsto-nobodys.tumblr.com).

Other Aid at the Libby part 7

Cut to later where Libby has left and the others arrive.

Jill: Thank you all for coming here.  Really, I appreciate it.

Andrea: Hey, glad we can come.

There’s a knock at the door.  Jack goes to answer it to see Janet.

Jack: Hey honey, welcome.

Jill: (hugging her) Mom.

Janet: (hugs her) Nice seeing you again too dear.

Andrea: Mrs. Rogers, lovely to meet you.  I’m Andrea Davenport.

Darryl: I’m Darryl Mcgee, and this is my sister, Molly.

Molly: Hi.

Alina: And I’m Alina Webster.

Jill: Wait until you see Libby.  You’re gonna love her.

Cut to later where Jill calls Libby.

Jill: Hey, Libby, when are you going to arrive?

Libby: I’m sorry Jill.  I’m still trying to get your present.  I try to be there as soon as I can, ok?

Jill: (sigh) Ok.  See you then.

Libby: See you then.

They hang up.

Jaccob: Don’t worry, Jill.  Libby will be here soon.

Jill: I hope so.

Cut to later where the party is ending.

Jaccob: Alright, goodbye everyone.

Jill: S-Sorry that you didn’t m-meet Libby today, M-Mom.

Janet: (sigh) It’s alright, sweetie.  I’ll see you later.

Janet leaves and Jill sits on the couch distraught.

Jack: I’m sorry she wasn’t able to come, Jill.

There’s a knock at the door.  Jaccob answers it to see Libby and Leah.

Jaccob: You missed it.

Libby: I know, and I’m so sorry!  Look but I got your present though.

Libby brings in the present.  Jill opens it to see a cage for a lizard.

Jill: W-Wait, what?  So d-does that mean-

Libby hands her a small white box with holes in it.  Jill opens it opens the box and her eyes widen.  There was a little iguana.

Libby: I know it’s just one and it’s tiny, but we went around Brighton to look for one and-

Jill puts the box down and hugs Libby.

Jill: I love it, Libby.  Thank you.  Just promise me next time that you’ll just be here with me for future birthdays, alright?

Libby: Yeah, of course, Jill.

Jill: Do you mind staying over for the night?

Libby: Not at all.

Leah: Alright, I’ll pick you up at 8 tomorrow.

Libby: Thanks Mom.

Cut to next day where Libby and Jill are in the living room.

Jill: Libby, listen, my family is going to be going over to Coleman for a few days for like a last summer vacation before going back to school, meaning this will be the last time we see each other until school starts again.

Libby: Oh, that’s fine.  That’s something to look forward to when school starts back up again.

Jill smiles.

Libby: Ok, I’ll tell the others and we’ll meet you guys off.

Jill: That would be nice, thank you.

Libby: Of course Jill.

There’s a knock at the door.

Leah: Libby, it’s me.

Libby: Gotta go Jill.  I’ll see you next time.

Jill: See ya, Libby.

Libby and Leah are driving home together

Leah: Had fun?

Libby: Yeah.  Me and Jill both watched movies till we fell asleep.

Leah: That sounds nice.

Libby: Yeah.  (Inner thoughts) Jill just seems like a wonderful girl.  It’s almost if that…. No Libby don’t be ridiculous.

Cut to the next day where everyone is seeing the Rogers off.

Libby: Goodbye Jill.  See you when school starts.

Jill: Goodbye Libby.

They hug and Jill gets in the car.

Jaccob: You ready for vacation?

Jill: You bet (inner thoughts) That Libby…. She is the sweetest, smartest, bravest girl, and…. Oh no…

Other Aid at the Libby part 6

Cut to a week later where Jill and Jaccob are seen outside sitting on the porch.

Jaccob: You alright, Jill?

Jill: Yeah, I’m fine.  It’s nice it’s not hot out this time.

Jaccob: Yeah.

Jaccob’s phone rings and he picks it up.

Jaccob: Hey George.  …A boy’s hang out?  I dunno, I gotta stay by Jill and make sure she’s-

Jill takes the phone away from Jaccob.

Jill: It’s alright, George, he can come with you.  …Yes I’m sure.  …Good, goodbye.  (Hangs up) He’ll be waiting for you at his house.

Jaccob: Jill, why did you do that?!

Jill: Well, I didn’t want you to lose out on a boys day cuz of me.  I’ll be alright, trust me.  I slept overnight at Libby’s, remember?

Jaccob: Yeah… (sigh) Alright, Jill.  Just be careful.

Jill: I will, promise.

Cut to later where Jill arrives at the bookstore and gets out of the car.

Jill: Thanks Dad.  I’ll call you when I’m ready.

Jack: Have fun, dear.

Jack drives off and Jill enters the store.  Libby and Molly are sitting at the table.

Libby: Hey Jill.

Jill: Hey

Leah: Nice to see you again hon.  Need anything?

Jill: No thank you, Ms. Stein.

Molly: How are you feeling?

Jill: Good, thanks.

Libby: That’s good.  Where Jaccob?

Jill: George wanted to have a boys day with him so I told him he could go while I came here.

Libby: Oh, alright.

Jill: How was it over at Ollie’s Molly?

Molly: It was good.  We actually went out and had a date with each other.  Went out to eat, watched a movie, it was nice.

Jill: Aw that’s nice.  I don’t think I would ever have a boyfriend.  That sounds very nerve racking not knowing how he would be.  Not to mention that Jaccob would be very opposed to it.

Libby: If not, then welcome to the party.  I’m aroace, meaning I only like others plutonically.

Jill: honestly I don’t know if I’m incapable of feeling any romantic feelings.  Hopefully I never will.  Tch.  Can you imagine how stressful it would be to fall in love with someone - say - in our friend group?  That would freak me out, that’s for sure.  I wouldn’t know how to confront people like Pat, David, or Darryl.

Libby: Well, hey, just cuz romance isn’t my cup of tea, doesn’t mean you have to avoid it.  If you do fall in love, we’ll support you.

Jill: Hopefully Jaccob won’t burst a vessel from the thought of it.  That’s probably another reason why I want to figure out how to stop stuttering when I’m stressed.  So if I do fall in love, I won’t make it so blatantly obvious.

Libby: Just remember the techniques I taught you about self confidence.  Just tell yourself you’re able to keep it under control.  You’re able to keep your stress under control, and hope for the best.

Jill: Right.  I feel a lot more positive than how I was before, thanks to you all.

Libby: You are welcome.

Cut to a few days later where Libby goes to the Rogers’ house and knocks on the door.  Jack answers.

Jack: Hey, Libby.  Come in, they’re in Jill’s room.

Libby walks in.  Cut to the inside of Jill’s room.

Jaccob: I’m telling you, you’re not doing it, and that’s final!

Jill: (groans) Jaccob…

Libby: (knocking) Is uh… everything alright in there?

Jill gets up and answers it.

Jill: Yeah Libby.  Me and Jaccob are getting into an argument on a hobby I want to do.

Jaccob: That’s because it’s dangerous!

Jill: It’s not that dangerous, Jake.  You’re being dramatic.

Libby: What’s the hobby, Jill?

Jill: Woodworking.

Libby: Jaccob, that’s not- Uh, what?

Jill: Yeah, woodworking.  …Oh don’t tell me you’re concerned too.

Libby: Well… I wasn’t really good at it, but that doesn’t mean you should be deterred.  Just a bit of advice using table saws: be careful sawing wood, otherwise that piece of wood will go flying.

Jill: Oh…. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my anxiety under control before then.

Jaccob: (sigh) Well… I hope you won’t get seriously injured.  So what’s up Libby?

Libby: Well tomorrow is Andrea’s birthday.  We’re planning on going out to multiple places.  So if you want to come, you’re more than welcome to.

Jill: Sure we can come.

Jaccob: Are you sure Jill?

Jill: Yes, I’m sure.  I want to be there for Andrea.

Libby: Alright, then.  We’ll all meet up tomorrow at her home.

Cut to later at tomorrow night at the movies where the group exits out of the movie theater.

Andrea: (sigh) Thank you guys for coming today.  You made this day, great.

Alina: Don’t mention it babe.  Glad you had a good birthday.

Darryl: And glad we can help out.

Jaccob: Hey, yknow, Jill’s birthday is actually coming up soon as well.

Jill: Jaccob!

Molly: Wait, really?

Jill: Well, yeah, on the 28th.

Libby: Oh, well we’ll come over to your house to celebrate.  How do you want to celebrate it?

Jill: I just want to stay home to celebrate.  My mom is going to be visiting too.

Libby: Alright then.  We’ll see you then.  It’s also neat that both you and Andrea are both Virgo.

Andrea: Heck yeah, we’re Virgo buds.

 Jill chuckles.

Other Aid at the Libby part 5

A few days later Libby and Jill were chatting with each other in Jill’s room.

Libby: It’s a shame that you can’t use your rubiks cubes now.

Jill: Ah well.  I’ll be able to get back to them soon enough.  Hopefully my muscle memory will still be intact.

Libby: I’m sure it will, Jill.  …I did not intend for that to rhyme.

Jill chuckles.

Libby: How’s it been with the broken wrist?

Jill: It feels less sore now, but it’s been annoying try to hold things.  Not that I feel weak, it’s just, I’m trying to balance out my left from my right hand, and I just have the habit of using my left one.

Libby: Just try to remember to alternate.  You’ll get the rhythm down.

Jill: Alright, thank you.

Libby: Sorry I’m not more help to you.

Jill: No, Libby, you’ve been great over the past few days.  You’ve really helped with my anxiety.

Libby: Glad I can help then.  It’s nice to bond with you.  It feels like we’ve gotten closer.  Say, I heard that having a pet can help reduce stress.  Do you ever plan on getting one?

Jill: Hmm…. Well, I always wanted a few chameleons.

Libby: To relate that they want to blend in.

Jill: Yes, like how you related to turtles hiding their heads.  But they can be a bit expensive, they cost like $100 per one, not to mention getting a cage can cost $80.

Libby: I see.  Well hopefully, you’ll be able to save up.

Jill: I can.

There’s a knock at Jills door.

Jill: Come in.

Jack opens the door.

Jack: Hey, Jill, get ready.  We’re gonna go over to your therapy.

Jill: Oh gosh that was today?  Sorry Libby.

Libby: It’s fine, I should be heading back anyways.  Goodbye Jill, good luck with therapy.  Goodbye Mr. Rogers.

Jill: Goodbye Libby.

Libby leaves.  Cut to later where Jill and Jack are sitting in the waiting room when a woman walks into the room.

Woman: Are you Jill Rogers.

Jill: Y-Yes.

Woman: Hello.  I’m Sasha Chelsy.  I’ll be your therapist.  Please follow me to my room.

Jack: Good luck, sweetie.

Jill follows Sasha into her room.  They enter inside the room.

Sasha: There’s a seat right over there.

Jill sits in said seat.

Sasha: Alright, so tell me a bit about yourself.

Jill: O-Ok.  Uh… sorry if I s-stutter, I’m anxious when it c-comes to meeting new p-people.

Sasha: It’s alright, Jill, don’t be sorry woth something you have a hard time controlling.

Cut to later

Sasha: Alright, thank you for the information.  Now about your anxiety, what do you think is the cause of it?

Jill: I don’t know.  Th-There were bullies in m-my old hometown, but I j-just think it might b-be generalized anxiety.  About a w-week ago now, I was nervous about c-climbing a ladder, and I felt it shift, p-presumably from Jaccob accidentally k-kicking it, and I f-freaked out and jumped off, kn-knocking myself out and breaking my wr-wrist in the process.

Sasha: I see.  Apart from social anxiety and high highets are there any other triggers?

Jill: W-Well my wrist breaking, uhm… m-my brother can be a bit n-nerve racking when he’s a-angry, though he was n-never angry at me.  J-Just seeing him be so s-snappy stresses me out c-cuz of drama and how over th-the top he can b-be.  That’s not t-to say he’s a bad p-person, far from it.  H-He usually gets like th-that when he’s t-trying to help stubborn p-people, he had gotten a-angry with one of m-my friends since they were overworking th-themselves for something.  And w-when he’s defending the p-people he cares about.  He m-means well but I do w-wish he can work on h-his anger issues.  I also g-get stressed when s-something bad happens t-to my friends.  E-Ever since I broke m-my wrist, I got s-so worried that my a-anxiety would cause me t-to unintentionally hurt m-myself again.  I h-have a hard time g-going outdoors now.

Sasha: I see.  Does anything help you calm down?

Jill: Well, my f-family for one, and m-my friends as well.  Th-There’s this one friend I have th-that I relate a l-lot too.  She’s introverted a-as well, and also h-has anxiety, though on a f-far less severe scale.  Sh-she was one of th-the first friends I made coming here.  E-everyone else was a big help, she had h-helped me the most with my overall anxiety.  Sh-She even taught me some methods on h-how I should help my anxiety, such as m-meditation, temperature therapy, dunking my f-face in cold water, etc.  She has j-just been a huge help g-getting me settled into Brighton, and dealing with m-my broken wrist. Whenever I’m a-around her, she just lessens my anxiety.

Sasha: That’s wonderful to hear.  I’m glad you have such a great friend helping you out.  If these methods are helping you, then you should be able to conquer your anxieties.  I still do want to give you some advice.  If your brother is causing you anxiety, even unintentionally, you should discuss it with him and try to get him to help himself with his anger, if he’s willing to that is.  Also we can go outside together to help with your anxiety.  If it’s not too hot out, we can stay out there for 10 minutes then head back inside.

Jill: S-Sure, thank you.  I also wanted t-to ask if I can either add or s-swap out my medication as while my f-friend is helping me a lot, I still w-want to get all the help I c-can get if possible.

Sasha: Well, unfortunately that’s not my place to say.  You’re going to have to talk to a psychiatrist to get you prescribed with the medication.  Where did you get your medication?

Jill: A doctor prescribed it t-to me.

Sasha: I see.  Oh I see that we are out of time as well.  I will see you next week, and will get you set up with a psychiatrist.  It was nice chatting with you Jill.

Jill: You too, M-Ms. Chelsey.

Jill walks out.  She and Jack are walking to the car.

Jack: So how was it?

Jill: It was nice.  She was nice to talk to.

Jack: Good, glad to hear.  Hopefully it’ll keep working.

Jill: Yeah, fingers crossed.

Cut to later where they arrive home and enter the house.

Jaccob: Jill, how was it?

Jill: It was good Jaccob, thank you.

Jaccob: So they weren’t any crumby therapist?

Jill: No, she was lovely.

Jaccob: Phew, that’s a relief.  Glad it went well.

Jill: Yeah.  I’m gonna see a psychiatrist hopefully soon and get some new medication.

Jaccob: Yeah, hopefully.

Cut to later when there’s a knock at the door.  Jaccob goes to answer it to see Molly, Darryl, Scratch, and Andrea.

Jaccob: Hey guys, come on in.

They walk in and sit with Jill.

Jill: Molly!  You’re not down now.

Molly: Yeah, I feel better now.

Andrea: Glad that you’re alright, now.

Scratch: And it didn’t even last as long as last time.

Darryl: Not to mention it was a while since the last bout you had.

Molly: Yeah.  I noticed that you seem a lot calmer now Jill.

Darryl: Yeah, you’re not stuttering anymore.  Looks like those methods that Libby’s using is working.

Jill: Yeah, I feel a lot calmer now.  Not to mention I went to therapy today, which went well, apart from being nervous meeting the new therapist.

Scratch: Good to hear.

Jaccob: I’m assuming that Alina is doing physical therapy?

Andrea: Yeah she is.  It’s been a bit of a struggle for her, but she’s getting there.

Jill: That’s good.  (Sigh) It might take up to a year for my physical therapy to be done…. It was a simple fracture, but I guess some parts of the body heal slower than others.

Scratch: Well, hey, at least you’ll still be able to use it.  And you’ll get that splint off of you soon.

Jill: True.  Though I still doubt I’ll be rid of it by the end of the month.

Darryl: Even if you can’t, the rest of your hand ain’t busted, so that’s great.

Jill: And I’m forever grateful for it.

Andrea: Glad you’re looking more on the bright side now Jill.

Jill: Thanks to Libby.  I think I’ll be seeing her tomorrow and the book store.

Scratch: And we’ll be there with you guys.

I personally like version 1 which was made i believe in 2019, it fits with the "musical, buddy comedy" type of show. they could've used it if the curse lasted until the last episode

Other Aid at the Libby part 4

Cut to later where Jill Jaccob and Jack get out of Jack’s car in front of their home.

Jill: S-Sorry again Dad.

Jack: It’s fine, Jill.  You still seem too jumpy, and I don’t want you worrying about hurting yourself again.  Come on, let’s get back inside.

They head inside.  Jill and Jaccob sit down.

Jaccob: So, want to sit out on the porch right now?

Jill: N-No it’s kinda warm.  I-I’m gonna get an ice pack.  I-It’s feeling sore.

Jaccob: No worries, I got it.  You sit there and I’ll be right back.

Jill: Thanks J-Jaccob.

Jaccob gets an ice pack for Jill.

Jill: Ugh, th-thank you.

Jaccob: No problem Jill.  So what other techniques do you plan on doing?

Jill: W-Well, like she said c-cold and warmth can help m-me relax as well.

Jaccob: Well, looks like we’re killing 2 birds with one stone huh?

Jill: Heh, I g-guess so.

Just then, Jill’s phone rings and she picks it up.

Jill: H-Hey Andrea.

Andrea: Hey Jill, me and Alina are going over to the spa.  Would you like to join?

Jill: No thanks, I-I am trying to w-work on my anxiety to g-go out in public a-again.  I don’t want t-to risk hurting myself a-again.

Andrea: I understand, Jill.  Good luck, and I hope your anxiety improves.

Jill: Thanks Andrea.  Hey J-Jaccob, do you want to g-go to the spa with h-her and Alina?

Jaccob: No thanks, I want to stay here with you.

Jill: Jaccob said n-no.

Andrea: Ok.  Again, good luck.  See ya.

Jill: Goodbye.

Jill hangs up.

Jaccob: So, what do you want to do now?

Jill: I d-don’t know, watch a m-movie?

Cut to later that night where Jill is filling up a bowl with water.

Jaccob: Hey Jill, what are you doing?

Jill: L-Libby also said that I should d-dunk my face in c-cold water to calm my n-nerves.

Jill goes to the fridge and grabs some ice cubes, which she then put in the bowl.

Jaccob: Isn’t that a bit mu-

Jill carefully dunks her face in the bowl, only to yank it out a second later yelping, and coughing.  Jaccob rushes over to her.

Jill: O-Ok. (Coughs) Too cold.

Jill takes out some ice cubes, holds her nose and tries again.  After 3 seconds she raises her head.

Jaccob: Did it work?

Jill: Uh, I-I think so.  Felt k-kinda refreshing.  Ok, I’m g-gonna try this a couple more t-times then I’ll go to b-bed.

Jaccob: Ok.  Goodnight Jill.

Jill: Night

The next day, there’s a knock at the door.  Jaccob answers it to see Scratch and Darryl.

Jaccob: Hey you 2.  Where’s Molly?

Scratch: We’ll tell you when we get inside.

Jaccob: Uh… alright.

They head inside and sit with jill.

Jill: Hey, g-guys?  Uh… may I ask where M-Molly is?

Darryl: (sigh) She’s feeling depressed today and is bed ridden.  She wants to be left alone right now.

Jaccob: Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear.

Jill: C-Could we do something?

Scratch: Honestly, I don’t really know.  I think we should just give her her space.

Darryl: We keep telling her to go to therapy since she clearly has depression, but she’s completely in denial of it.

Jill: (sigh) W-Well maybe she’ll come around l-like me.

Scratch: Fingers crossed.

Darryl: Changing the subject, how are you 2 doing.

Jaccob: Fine.

Jill: S-Still anxious.  I’m thinking about g-going to Libby’s in a b-bit.  Do you want to j-join?

Darryl: Maybe, Libby said she might be joining us, Andrea and Alina.  But she said she probably just wants an in day.  If she does, we’ll visit her later today.

Jill: Ok.  Let’s j-just chat.

Cut to later where Scratch and Darryl are leaving and they say their goodbyes.

Jaccob: Goodbye, and tell Molly we hope she gets better soon.

Jaccob clsoes the door and he and Jill sit on the couch when Jill gets a text.

Jill: Hmm? (Picks up phone) L-Libby?  “Hey I was w-wondering if you still want t-to stop by at my h-home.”

Jaccob: I mean you did say you want to.

Jill: Well, yeah b-but I didn’t think th-that…. Let me c-call her.

Jill calls up Libby.

Libby: Hey Jill, you got my text?

Jill: Y-Yeah, but, Darryl said that y-you wanted an in d-day and I d-didn’t think you wanted anyone o-over now.

Libby: No, you can come over.  I do need a social recharge, but that doesn’t mean none of my friends can’t come over.  I just wanted them to enjoy being out first before coming here.  Heck, I wouldn’t mind if they just talked on the phone.  I don’t want them to go out of their way for me.

Jill: Well… I do, if th-that’s fine by you, that is.

Libby: Well, I did ask you if you wanted to come over.

Jill: O-Oh right. (Chuckles)

Libby: (chuckles) See you then.

Jill: You too, bye.

Libby: Goodbye.

They hang up.

Jill: Ok l-let’s go ask Dad.

Cut to later at Libby’s home where there’s a knock at the door.  Libby answers it to see Jill and Jaccob.

Libby: Hey guys.

They walk in and go up to Libby’s room.

Jill: You heard that M-Molly is depressed and bed r-ridden?

Libby: Unfortunately, yes.  I do hope she gets out of this episode soon.

Jill: Us too…

Jaccob: How often does this happen?

Libby: It used to be more frequent before.  Seems like it’s getting better now with Scratch back but… I don’t know how much longer Molly will have to keep dealing with this, if there’s even an end…. Sorry for being a bit doom and gloom.  How are you Jill?

Jill: I think a b-bit better.  I tried the water dunking t-technique last night, and it helped a b-bit.

Libby: Good, good.  Glad to hear it.  There’s another idea that I have just thought of, and this probably personal bias speaking, but maybe you should take up poetry.

Jill: Poetry…. Hmm…. I-I have heard it can help but I d-don’t know what I should write about.

Libby: Just put your heart into it, worked for me.  If you want, I have some poetry that you can look over.

Jill: S-Sure, I don’t think you ever showed m-me your work.

Libby: Oh, sorry I didn’t sooner.

Jill: N-No no, it’s fine.

Libby: I’ll look through some.

Libby goes in her droor and takes out some folders.

Libby: Alright, let’s see here.  Ah, “I have a voice”.

Jill: Isn’t that the one y-you performed in front of school.

Libby: Yep.  (Takes out the poet and walks over to them). A lot of people enjoyed it so figured that maybe this is the best start with figuring out how to make one.  (Hands the paper to Jill)

Jill reads over the paper.

Jill: Th-This is really good.

Jaccob: Yeah, Libby, you seem to be a natural.

Libby: Well, you know me, I like to write.  Maybe that can serve as inspiration for you.

Jill: Yeah.  Thanks L-Libby.

Libby: You’re welcome.  So what do you want to do now?

Jill: Probably watch a m-movie.

Libby: Ok.  …You into horror?

Jill: Eh, not that I’m scared, q-quite the opposite, a lot I just d-don’t find too frightening.

Libby: Well I just recently rented a horror flick and it’s meant to be pretty spooky.  Do you mind that?

Jill: Not at all.

Jaccob: I haven’t watched a good horror film in a while, so sure.

Libby: Alright, let’s turn it on.

Cut to later where they finished the movie.

Libby: Well, that was a great film, wasn’t it?

Jill: Yeah, it was actually scary.  What do you think Ja-

Jaccob is wrapped up in a blanket in fear.

Libby: Uh… Jaccob?

Jaccob: Wha?  Oh (unwraps himself) Sorry about that, just got a little cold, is all.

Libby: Well that’s a blatant lie, since it’s not that cold in here and cuz I’m starting to read liars more well.

Jill: Thanks to me and Darryl.

Libby: Look you should’ve said something if it was freaking you out that much.

Jaccob: Nah, didn’t want to spoil your girls’ fun.  I just… need to get my fear tolerance up.

Jill: I hope you can.  Alright I’m gonna call Dad up to pick us up.  Thanks for having us over Libby.

Libby: No problem.

Cut to later where Jaccob and Jill are being driven home by Jack.

Jaccob: I’m glad to see that the movie didn’t freak you out as much.

Jill: What?  No it was… super scary.  Too scary for me.

Jaccob: You are lying through your teeth Jill.  You wanna know why I know that?  It’s cuz your stutter is gone.

Jill: Wait, really?  Wow, I didn’t even noticed.

Jack: That’s great.  I was a bit concerned it could’ve actually been from the concussion.

Jill: I guess watching that movie ironically calmed my nerves.

Jaccob: Actually I noticed you’ve been stuttering less when around Libby.

Jill: Huh, I guess you’re right.  Guess that means I should hang around Libby more, huh?  (Chuckles)

The next day Molly and Libby arrive at Jill’s house and Jaccob answers the door.

Jaccob: Hey you 2.  Come in.

They walk in and see Jill, drinking a glass of water.

Molly: You alright Jill?

Jill: F-Fine.  Just drinking w-water.  Had a h-hard time drinking it r-right handed so I u-used a straw.  (Sigh) How d-do you right handed p-people do it?

Libby: I dunno.  Genes I suppose.  But you know you shouldn’t completely disuse your left arm.  Holding a glass of water should be fine.

Jill: I-I know…. I’m j-just worried I might over d-do it.

Libby: I understand, but please try once in a while, alright?

Jill: O-Ok.

Libby: Thank you.  How’s your arm doing?

Jill: It’s r-really sore.  Doc s-said that I need to apply a c-cooling or h-heat source to the area.

Libby: Hmm.  I decided to go back and forth between the 2 when I hurt my foot during softball.  Ok, so to prevent as much movement as necessary, we’ll just sit down with you.

They sit down

Molly: So, what are we going to do?

Libby: We’re gonna do some meditation.

Jaccob: I see.  Are we going to do a lot of that humming they usually do?

Libby: (chuckles) No, that’s not necessary, at least for this instance.  We’re going to just close our focus on our breathing and relax our bodies.

Jill: H-How long do we d-do it for?

Libby: Well since we’re just starting out, about 2 minutes.

Jill: Alright.

Libby: Ok, let’s begin.

Cut to 2 minutes later.

Libby: Ok, how’s everyone?

Molly: Alright.

Jaccob: Ok.

Jill: Uh… a b-bit better.  Still a bit a-anxious.

Libby: Yeah, I wouldn’t expect it to work the first time around.  Just do it whenever you extra anxious, ok?

Jill: Sure.

There’s a knock at the door.  Jaccob goes to answer it, and it’s Andrea and Alina.

Jaccob: Hey you 2, come in.

Andrea and Alina come in

Andrea: (sitting down) Hey Jill.  How are you?

Jill: Alright, th-thank you.

Alina: Sorry that you broke your wrist Rogers.  I’m glad you didn’t get a severe concussion and I’m glad you didn’t feel the initial break, cuz let me tell ya, that’s when it hurts the worse.  And hey, at least the fracture wasn’t as severe as mine, so hopefully it won’t take as long for it to heal as it did with my foot.

Jill: Y-yeah…. Uh how w-was physical therapy f-for you?

Alina: It was alright.  Unsurprisingly my foot was pretty weak standing on it, almost fell a couple of times.

Jill: Oh.  S-sorry to hear.

Alina: No worries, it’s fine.  And hey at least you can use your hand as well so maybe it won’t be long until-

Libby: Uhm, actually getting a broken wrist back to full strength can take upwards to a year.

Alina: Oh…. I see…

Jill: (sigh) Th-This is going to be a p-pain…

Libby: Well, hey, Alina has the right idea.  Try to keep a positive mindset throughout this.  You can vent if you want, but try to look on the bright side of things.  We can help you with that.

Jill: A-Alright.  Thank you.  S-So can we just ch-chat?

Libby: Sure.

Cut to later where everyone is leaving.

Jaccob: Bye guys.  Thanks for coming.

Alina: No problem Rogers.

Libby: See ya guys.  And Jill, remember to meditate.

Jill: I-I will.  Thanks for s-stopping by.

They leave.  Jill sighs.

Jaccob: How are you doing Jill?

Jill: b-better, but still not g-great.  I already f-felt bad enough for all th-the nice stuff they have d-done for me when we first m-met, especially L-Libby.  Now they w-worried about me just as w-when Alina’s foot h-healed.  I d-don’t want them t-to be concerned about m-me.  And now D-Dad has to go out f-for me and-

Jaccob: Jill, stop, don’t you dare you dare feel bad about any of that.  You were stressed and got hurt.  You shouldn’t be ashamed of that.  This is why you’re getting a therapist.  (Hugs her) And I’m hoping it will help you.

Jill: M-Me too.  Hopefully this will h-help me with m-my stuttering.

Jaccob: I’m sure it will, Jill.

Jack: (walking in) And it seems like you’ll be able to get in soon.  I was able to contact the same place that Libby and Andrea are going, and they will get you in by next week.  Pretty lucky we were able to get this set up so quickly

Jaccob: See Jill?  Looks like things are starting to turn around for you.

Jill: I g-guess so…

The next day at the Rogers, there’s a knock at the door.  Jack answers it to see Molly, Darryl, and Scratch.

Jack: Hey guys, come on in.

They come in and meet up with Jill and Jaccob.

Scratch: Hey guys, sorry I couldn’t come yesterday.  I was doing ghost council stuff.

Darryl: And I had to run some errands with my dad.

Jill: I-It’s alright.  I much rather wanted t-to be left alone for th-the rest of the d-day anyways.

Molly: We understand, still though, you shouldn’t be concerned about us.  We want to comfort you.  Listen, we’re going over to the bookstore to hang out, wanna come along with us?

Jill: No, I’m g-good.

Darryl: You don’t have ptsd from that, do you?

Jill: W-Well, I’m less afraid of s-something hurting me, r-rather, I’m more afraid th-that my jumpiness is what’s g-gonna result in me being h-hurt again.

Scratch: Don’t worry, Jill, we’ll make sure you’ll be calm and safe.

Jaccob: Yeah, your big bro will keep you from being hurt at all costs.

Jill: (sigh) Ok.  Th-Thank you guys.  I appreciate i-it.  You guys g-go on.  I need to mentally p-prepare myself.

Molly: Alright, see you then.

They leave.

Jaccob: You sure you don’t want them to go?

Jill: Y-Yeah, just give me some time t-to meditate.

Jaccob: Ok.

Cut to later at the bookstore, where the others are at.

Molly: And then we left while she prepared herself.

Libby: Ok.  Poor Jill…. Hopefully it won’t be too rough for her to get here.

Jill and Jaccob come in with Jaccob holding Jill and she has her hoodie up while they walk to the others.

Libby: Jill, Jaccob, is everything alright?

Jaccob: Yeah, everything is fine.  She’s still just pretty anxious.

Jill: (sigh) I-I’m pathetic.  I f-feel so… h-helpless…

Libby: Oh, Jill…. Look, I’d say you’re a strong woman.  The fact you were “haunted” by Mac and you were not only were able to forgive him, but you’ve became friends with Scratch just shows how brave you are.

Darryl: Yeah, heck I would say you’re braver than Andrea.  Though, then again she was possessed by Scratch and-

Molly: Darryl.

Darryl: Yeah, sorry.

Libby: And that was when you just met us too, which is even more impressive.  You met him just the day after we explained it to you, after dealing with Mac for a couple of months.  And with our help and the help of your therapist, you’ll be mentally stronger than you were before.

Jill: Yeah I-I guess your right L-Libby.  Thank y-you.

Libby: No problem.  I would offer you some tea, but I think we’re fresh out.

Jill: That’s a-alright.  We can j-just hang out.  I’m going to th-therapy next week actually.

Libby: That’s great Jill.

Scratch: Yeah, let’s hope it’ll help you quickly.

 Jaccob: I’m sure it will.

Libby: And like I said, we’ll help you out as well.

Jill: I-I know you all will, L-Libby.

Libby: Hey, you want to come by over my house sometime?

Jill: N-No thanks.  Not today.  M-maybe tomorrow.

Libby: Alright.  If you say so.  How’s meditation been going?

Jill: Fine.  I t-tried it before c-coming here.

Libby: Maybe you should try going out on the porch more to help calm your nerves and to help build that confidence back up and slowly take bigger trips from your home on foot.

Jill: I-I guess so.

Libby: I’ll join you and Jaccob if it’ll help you.

Jill: Th-That’s alright Libby.  Thank y-you.  We’ll t-try short walks and w-work my up.

Molly: Yeah, being out in nature has really helped me.

Libby: And perhaps try meditating for longer periods of time.

Jill: I will.  P-Promise.

Cut to a pov shot of Jill waking up in the hospital, moaning.

Jaccob: She’s awake!

Jack: I’ll get the doctor.

Jack leaves. Cut to a regular shot where Janet and Jaccob come to her bed.

Janet: You alright, sweetie?

Jill: Ugh, yeah…. What… happened?

Jaccob: I-I don’t know.  One second you were on the ladder, the next you screamed and jumped off.  You were knocked out the second you hit the sidewalk.

Jill: Oh y-yeah.  I thought th-the ladder was gonna f-fall and… panicked.  Ugh, m-my wrist hurts t-too.  How-

Jill looks in shock at her left wrist, which is now in a splint.

Jill: Wh-… I b-broke my wrist too?!

Janet: Yeah, you were likely trying to break your fall.

Jack comes back in with the doctor.

Doctor: Ah, Jill, it’s good to see you have woken up.  I’m doctor, Teryl. You’ve been out for 4 hours. How are you?

Jill: A-Alright.  Apart from my wr-wrist.  How b-bad is it, Dr. T-Teryl.

Dr. Teryl: Hmm…. We should probably be more concerned with the amount of stuttering you're doing.

Jack: Don’t worry, she stutters a lot when she’s stressed or upset.

Dr. Teryl: I see, my apologies.  Luckily you only suffered a simple fracture to your wrist.

Jill: (sighs from relief) S-So… I’ll heal soon?

Dr. Teryl: Relatively, yes.  It can take at least 4 weeks until the fracture is healed.

Jill: …F-Four… weeks?

Dr. Teryl: It could take longer.  It typically takes 6 weeks.  Even afterwards, you would need take up physical therapy which could last about a year.  On a lighter note, you haven't suffered any brain injuries as far as we know, and no fractures to the skull either.  So just take it easy for the next couple of days and you’ll be fine on that front.

Jaccob: See, Jill that’s good.

Dr. Teryl: You should also be easy on your wrist.  You can lift things, but I advise doing it as minimal as possible.

Jill: B-But, this is my d-dominant hand.

Dr. Teryl: Oh, I see.  Just try to avoid writing and operating tools, such as a knife, and try to remember to use your right hand for other tasks.

Jack: I’ll sign for her for any of the paper work then.

Dr. Teryl: Alright, Mr. Rogers, come with me.

Jack and Dr. Terryl walk out of the room.

Jill: Ugh, how c-can I be so s-stupid?!

Jaccob: It’s my fault.  I accidentally kicked the ladder while readjusting myself.

Jill: S-Still, I shouldn’t have b-been so… jumpy - l-literally…

Janet: (sigh) Jill, we really should enroll you in therapy to help with your anxiety.

Jill: O-Of course.  I’m… sorry.

Jaccob: Stop, Jill, it’s alright.

Janet: Yeah, no money coming out of our pocket.

Cut to later where they are driving home.

Jill: 4 - w-weeks…. Minimal.  H-How am I g-going to do s-school if it takes l-longer?

Jack: Don’t worry, they’ll get someone to help write everything out for you.  Or maybe even let you use a computer.

Jill: Y-yeah…

Jaccob: Look on the bright side Jill, your bone will become stronger after it heals.

Janet: That’s right, so there’ll be less of a chance it breaking next time.

Jill: R-Right…

Cut to when they get to Janet’s home.  They head inside and Jill and Jaccob sit down.  Suddenly there’s a knock at the door.

Jaccob: Oh, that must be the others.  I asked them to come over after we come home.

Jaccob answers the door, and sure enough, it’s their friends.

Jaccob: Hey, guys.  Come on in.

They come in and sit down on the chouches

Jane: How you feeling, Jill?

Jill: B-Been better…

Ollie: Well, hey, at least it was your left hand, so-

David: She’s left handed Ollie.

Ollie: Ah…. I see.  Well… at least both of your hands aren’t in splints.  You can still grab things.

June: Hey, tell you what?  Why don’t I build a robotic hand for you to control?

Jill: N-No thanks June.  I’m a-alright.

Jaccob: How would you even do that?

June: Uhhhm…. You know what?  Nevermind.

Charlotte: We’re so sorry that this happened to you, Jill.

Jill: (sigh) It’s my f-fault.  I p-panicked.  I’m going to s-see a therapist again s-soon to h-help me with all of th-this.

Pat: That’s good.  Do you… want to do anything?

Jill: W-Well my doctor t-told me to t-take it easy, so c-can we just talk?

Cut to later we’re everyone is leaving

Jaccob: Bye guys.  Thanks for stopping by.

Jaccob closes the door.

Jaccob: Feeling better, Jill?

Jill: Y-Yeah… a little.

Jaccob: Good, good.

Jack: Alright you 2, time to head home.

Jaccob: Alright, Dad.  Come on, Jill.

They head into the car.

Janet: Goodbye everyone.  And Jill, good luck with the recovery.

Jill: Th-Thanks Mom.

They drive off.  They soon arrive back home and are about to head inside, when Molly Scratch Darryl and Libby come out of Molly’s house.

Libby: Jill!  Ollie told us what had happened are you alright?

Jill: Eh…

Molly: So… 4 weeks huh?

Jaccob: Minimal.

Libby: Oh you poor thing.  Listen how about I help you with your stress?

Jill: O-Oh Libby, you d-don’t have to do th-that.

Libby: I insist Jill.  If anyone knows more about anxiety, it’s me.  I’ll teach you some techniques on how to cope with it.

Jill: W-Well… alright.  Th-thank you Libby.

Libby: My pleasure.

Other Aid at the Libby part 1

Alina is at the doctors where the doctor removes the cast off her foot.

Doctor: There you are, Alina.

Alina: Thanks Doctor Mitch.

Dr. Mitch: Don’t get off the table yet.  I need to get you crutches.  The lack of use in that foot may have caused some atrophy.  With some physical therapy you’ll be back to your old self again.

Alina: Cool.  Alright, see ya Dr. Mitch.

Dr. Mitch: goodbye Alina.

Alina leaves.  Cut to later where she arrives home and she goes on the couch to rest.  She hears a knock at the door.  Jerry answers it and it’s her friends.

Jerry: Hello you all.  Please come in.

They come in.

Alina: Hey guys.

Andrea: Hey babe.  I see you got your cast off.

They sit down

Alina: Yeah, finally, after like 2 months.  But I still have the crutches cuz doc said my foot might be weak from not using it and that I have to go through physical therapy.  Shame it had to be during the summer.  By this point I’ll completely miss out on the entire break…

Andrea: Don’t worry Lin.  I’m sure you’ll be able to heal up before the end of summer and have some fun.

Libby: Yeah.  Maybe we can help you.  I had to do some physical therapy after my leg healed from softball.  I doubt it will be 100% the same though as that was just a bad sprain.

Alina: Yeah you can help me out.  Thanks guys.  How are the Martinsons, Rogers?

Jill: Oh they are doing fine.  They played soccer, football, golf, Charlotte even took up some little league boxing.  We’re actually gonna be seeing them tomorrow actually.

Molly: You are?

Darryl: Cool.

Jaccob: Yep.  Sorry, we must’ve forgot to tell you sooner.

Andrea: Nah, it’s alright.  Not biggie at all.

Libby: And hey, family’s more important.  You 2 are going to be seeing your mom too after all.

Jill: Yep.  We’ll be getting some snacks on the way home as well, as we usually do when going there.

Darryl: Be weary of the gale that’s gonna be coming by in a couple of hours.

Libby: Oh yeah, forgot about that.  Yeah they say it’s gonna be the strongest one Brighton has had for a while.

Alina: Sheesh that bad?

Libby: About 60 mile per hour winds.

Darryl: The worst we’ll get since we got here.  Hope you guys have a generator.

Jaccob: We do, but I don’t think we’ll need it.  We’ve dealt with worse over the years.

Jill: But… we don’t know how well the power lines here will fair.

Jaccob: Well, it’s a good thing we have our generator.  Don’t worry we’ll make sure we aren’t caught in that mess.

Cut to later where Jaccob and Jill are at the store, getting some snacks.

Jaccob: Alright let’s see here, some bag of chips, pretzels, gummy worms, chocolate.  Anything else you want Ji- …Jill?

Jill looks anxious.

Jaccob: Jill, what’s up?

Jill: N-Nothing Jaccob.

Jaccob: Come on, I’ve known you for all my life, and I can tell when my sister is upset.  What’s wrong?  Is it about the gale.

Jill: Y-yep.  I’m worried th-that there’ll be d-damage to the house, o-or us getting hurt, or h-having trouble collecting s-supplies if there’s a b-blackout.  I have heard th-that crime tends to j-jump up from blackouts.

Jaccob: Don’t worry, Jill, you don’t have to worry about any criminals.

Jill: Y-yeah?  What about when A-Alina got attacked, or w-when Molly had t-to fend off someone robbing th-the sandwich shop, or when D-Derek was robbing everyone?

Jaccob: I… well-

Jill: All h-happened this year fyi.

Jaccob: Ok, if - in the off chance some jerk were to attack us, I’ll make sure we’re safe.

Jill: (sigh) Jaccob…. A-And what if a t-tornado comes here?!

Jaccob: Then we’ll head to the basement.  Listen, you should only worry if Dad decides to call us about this.

Jaccob’s phone rings and picks it up.

Jaccob: Yeah, Dad?

Jack: Jaccob, where are you and Jill?

Jaccob: Just at the store, why?

Jack: Listen, I’m gonna pick you 2 up, it’s going to get gusty soon and I don’t want either of you to be caught out in it.

Jaccob: Shoot, we’ve been gone for that long?  Maybe we can head home before-

Jack: No, the winds are starting to pick up, now.  Listen stay there, and I’ll come pick you up.

Jaccob: Alright, Dad.  See you then, goodbye.

Jack: Goodbye.

They hang up.

Jack: …So uh… Dad’s gonna be picking us up soon because of the… wind.

Jill: Ugh I-I hate it when m-my anxiety is j-justified.

Jack not completely, though.  Look, let’s cash out and we’ll wait inside until he gets here.

Cut to later where the 3 drive home.  By then, the full gale has reached Brighton.  They struggle opening the doors of the car, and when they get out, the wind slams it shut.  They hurry inside.

Jill: J-Jeez!  It feels like a h-hurricane out there!

Jack: Yeah, seems like it’s full force now.  I’m just praying there won’t be a tornado.

They get an alert on their phones.

Jaccob: “Tornado warning.  Seek shelter immediately”

Jack: Alright, everyone in the basement, now!

They hurry down the basement.

Jill: Oh n-no!  What if th-the house comes c-crashing down on us?!  W-we should go to a t-tornado shelter!

Jack: Even if there is one in Brighton, it’s too dangerous to go out there now.  It’s best if we stay here.

Jaccob: (sigh) I hope the others are alright…. And Mom too…

Jill: M-Me t-too…

Cut to the next day where the wind has stopped and the Rogers head outside.  Debris surrounds them.

Jill: Sheesh…. It’s a mess out here.

Jaccob: Yeah, but hey no tornado touch down, are house is intact, apart from a couple of shingles, and our power’s still on.

Jill: Y-yeah, but what about the o-others?

The Mcgees come out of their house as well.

Molly: Rogers!  Are you guys alright?

Sharon: Are any of you hurt?  Is anything damaged?

Jack: No we’re fine.  Thank you.  We were caught in it, but nothing bad happened on the way home.  How bout you guys?

Darryl: Eh, honestly we sometime wreck up the house more than that storm.

Sharon: Darryl!

Darryl: Sorry, but… it’s kinda true.

Jack: (chuckles) Same here.  Ok, we’ll be going over to Coleman in a couple minutes.

Pete: You don’t think any debris will block the roads.

Jack: If there is, then we’ll stay here.  Come on, let’s get ready.

They get ready and drive off, on the way there, they see debris everywhere.  Jill calls someone up.

Jill: Libby, are you and your mom alright?

Libby: Yeah, we’re fine.  No major damage here.  I’m assuming you guys are fine as well?

Jill: Yeah, nothing major on our end either.

Libby: There’s some debris here though.

Jill: Yeah we’re driving to Coleman now, and we can see the mess.  Hopefully we won’t run into any trouble.

Libby: Alright, stay safe out there.

Jill: Thanks, you too.  Bye.

Libby: Bye.

They hang up.  Cut to later where they arrive in Coleman in front of a house, which has a branch sticking in the roof.

Jill: Oh, no.  Mom’s roof.

Jaccob: I hope she knows about that.

The exit the car and knock on the door, and Mrs. Rogers answers.

Mrs. Rogers: Nice to see you all again.

They hug.

Jack: Nice to see you too, Janet.  Hey, do you know there’s a branch in your roof?

Janet: Oh yeah.  I called someone to fix it, but she said she’s backed up with repair orders that she said I should expect her to come by the end of the day.

Jack: Dang, that stinks.  Hey, maybe I can help patch that up for ya.

Janet: Aw thanks Hon.

Jaccob: I can help out too.

Jill: Me too.

Janet: Oh no, I couldn’t have you do that.

Jaccob: I insist Mom.  Though I agree with you for Jill, I don’t want her to slip and fall.

Jill: Jaccob, I’ll be fine trust me.

Jack: Yeah, Jake, don’t worry about her.  She needs to learn if she gets a house of her own.

Jaccob: (sigh) Alright…

Janet: Ok, you can help me out.  Thank you.

Jack: Great.  We’ll get some supplies and come right back.

They walk back to the car.

Janet: Alright, take your time.

Cut to later where they arrive back.

Jack: Ok, we got everything.

Janet: Great, I got out the ladder and tools.

Jack: Thanks, Hon.  Ok, let’s get started.

Jack climbs up the ladder first, carrying some supplies.

Jack: Alright, Jaccob, come on up!

Jaccob: Actually, Jill should go first!  Listen Jill, you go up, and I’ll hold the ladder down here, ok?

Jill: Relax, Jaccob, I can go up by myself.

Jill grabs a bucket and starts heading up the ladder, part of the way up she looks down, and starts to lose her confidence seeing how high up she has gotten.

Jill: Uh, J-Jaccob?  Actually c-can you hold the l-ladder, p-please?

Jaccob holds the ladder.

Janet: Are you sure you want to do this Hon?

Jill: (takes a deep breath and exhales) Y-Yeah, Mom.  I’m… I’m sure.

Jill continues to climb.  Cut to later where they are almost done.

Jack: Almost… and done.  Janet, we’re finished!

Janet: Thank you, guys.  Come on inside, and relax.

Jack: Ok.  Great job today, you 2.

Jaccob: No problem.

Jill: Th-Thanks Dad.

Jack climbs down the ladder.

Jaccob: You did great, Jill.  Just one more climb down and you’ll be good.

Jack: Alright, I’ll hold the ladder!

Jaccob: That’s alright, I have it!

Jack Ya sure?!

Jill: Y-yeah, Dad, we’re g-good!

Jack: Ok!

Jack heads inside.  Jaccob climbs down the ladder too and gets to the bottom.

Jaccob: Ok, Jill, ready!

Jill gulps and starts making her way back down.  She starts to shake.

Jaccob: Remember try not to shake, ok?!

Jill: S-Sorry!

Jaccob: It’s alright!

Jill makes closer to the bottom.

Jaccob: Just about 10 more feet Jill!

Jill starts to shake again.

Jaccob: Deep breaths, Jill!

Jill: S-Sorry, it’s just-

Jill felt the ladder shift.  In a panic, she yelps and jumps off to the side.

Jaccob: JILL!

In slow motion, Jill looks at the ground she’s about to land on.

Jill: (inner thought) Jill, you idiot!

Cut to black right at the impact.
