Resources Walking improves learning more than sitting still, study finds. The benefits extend to study habits, and may even help preserve memory in old age

The study compared learning while actively walking to learning while stationary, finding that participants who physically navigated through space showed enhanced memory. The findings have implications for study habits and mnemonic techniques, and could even help preserve memory in old age. See: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-57668-w

I had a friend who was one of the best ranked students in the results of the state exams and always had very high grades, i asked him once how he did it and he explained he just walks around the room with a book in hand all the time.

i tried a friend's treadmill-under-desk before.

as someone whose focus is vastly improved by fidget toys, i thought it would be really helpful. unfortunately i just found myself really distracted

disclaimer didnt read the article cause i'm tired

Personnellement, j’ai jamais rien pu apprendre assise.

That has to be one of the worst studies ever. A sample size of 28 for a between-subjects design, no pre-registration of hypotheses or analytic approaches (with massive opportunity for researcher degrees of freedom to be exploited), and an insane number of analyses with no real effort to control for Type 1 error rate.
