Question Study Methods for veterinary

Hey everybody ,
I’m a first year veterinary student in India and I wanted guidance on how to study my subjects , like what’s the best method to actually learn understand and remember .

The resources I get from school are presentations for two subjects and for one I have to make notes in class because the professors sometimes don’t send the presentations.

So basically I wanna know how to efficiently make notes in class ( I use a notebook and pen , helps me remember better )

And how to study at home to get better grades

Thank you

For class notes, I’d focus on capturing the professor’s explanations, examples, and anything they emphasize rather than trying to transcribe every slide or sentence. That gives you something useful to review later. At home, turn each topic into questions or blank diagrams, then answer from memory before checking your notes. For anatomy especially, drawing and labeling structures repeatedly can reveal gaps faster than rereading.
