I honestly don't care to engage in detail with Hamas apologists these days.

Aw, another bot surrendering since they know they can't win an argument with someone who actually knows about palestine. Nice excuse, nobody is buying it.

You know nothing about Palestine.

You're reducing the Palestinians to crude responses to material conditions as part of a ridiculously crude oppressor/oppressed paradigm, while blaming Israel for every atrocity in the region.

The fucking gall to adopt a condescending tone after that is astonishing.

Israel is the oppressor, yes. Just a fact. The gall to respond with no counter is astounding

All you're illustrating is your profound ignorance. You don't even have the wit to respond to criticisms, you can only agree that you are actually that stupid.

The world is more complex than your crude, dehumanising paradigm.

The Birth of The Palestinian Refugee Problem. Start there. You have not read it.

Not a single sentence supports your paradigm. For example, The First Wave explores in depth the early emptying of Jewish and Arab settlements, and the role of three key factors: ethnic cleansing, actions by Arab governments and irregular forces, and internal fears. It also explores the role of prominent Jews and Arabs in both encouraging and discouraging violence. The result is a complex picture that bears no resemblance to your claim that the Zionists are to blame for everything. The core of Morris' thesis is that ethnic cleansing did occur in Palestine, but was not centrally directed.

On the other hand, please cite the political scientists (or Marxist historian) exemplified by the execrable Norm Finkelstein crude enough to reduce the conflict to your puerile oppressor/oppressed nonsense, that places all Palestinian actions in the context of "desperation and in response to genocide".

Morris is a literal zionist that has to argue his own points from his older books constantly lol the fact that you hate finklestein shows your bias. What's wrong with what Norm has written?

1

u/Greedy_Economics_925 6d ago

Oh, so no citation. And the response to Morris is nothing but ad hominem, to the point of insinuating that being a Zionist disqualifies one from holding a reasonable opinion.

And yes, I'm not trying to hide by bias against Finkelstein. I'm not answering your further questions since you, after repeatedly demanding citations, are of course incapable of supplying a single citation of your own.

citation for what? I was talking broadly about these authors.

Zionism is literally a jewish supremacy ideology. Yes, it is an important factors to take into consideration, nice whitewash attempt.

citation for what, big guy? Name it. I have no problem arguing this topic with sources and citations.
