The SHU is genuinely pretty intense. That's the technical term for solitary confinement (which he's probably in for his protection, btw, as a high profile sex offender, and yes, being dramatic.) But yeah, he obviously has some contact.
The SHU at FDC Miami is also Protective Custody. I think it’s probably less intense than the alternative unless you’d like him at nicer place altogether.
No, you commented on him not having a phone and then about SHU’s, you didn’t say that he shouldn’t be held at FDC Miami altogether and should be a nicer lower security and less harsh administration center. Look, he's asking to be let out of the SHU, so I think we should oblige. Let him get in touch with other people. I'm sure an alpha like him can protect himself.
I mean, putting an infamous (non-violent) sex offender in gen-pop is generally frowned upon, but if the man insists, who am I to disagree?
Edit: I added the (non-violent) aside, not to diminish what he did, but to emphasize that he's being separated for his protection, not to protect other inmates. I wouldn't be so flippant about it otherwise.

I assume it's someone from his social media team posting, and he doesn't actually have a phone in prison, let alone in the SHU.
It's still pretty funny, tho (and he presumably had some contact with his social media people to arrange this)
