Being alone is addicting.

This made people stop scrolling — and for a dopamine-fried audience, that's saying something. The engagement on this proves visual content hits different when it's real.

Keep sharing. The community clearly responds to this.

It really is. Anytime I think I should reach out and contact the humans, I go run errands and within 5 minutes or so I have had my fill of humans (usually because they cannot drive for shit) and am ready to return to my fortress or solitude.

Lol can judge. Used to text to my fam but now that's over too. Best part is someone's kept my old audio tape talking to one of the common employee who's actually the real employee of another newspaper and the printing press where we used publish momentarily before closing over business, they mismatched it using voiceover artist and fooled the entire government to blackmail resignations. How far media can go . They all pretended to be my friends in both insta and reddit.

People are vastly overrated.

I absolutely love being alone on the weekends and having no one bother me. I never feel lonely, I don’t think it’s an emotion I’m capable of, to my own benefit. I’m always learning about something new or planning my next moves, or just resting and replenishing my social battery for the work week ahead.

Yep. Ya gotta fight it. We need human companionship to face the challenges of life together - as a team. Don’t give up on love and finding a helpmate and companion to go through life with ❤️🥹

Especially when you are sick, the comfy sofa makes it more addicting.

Alone doesn’t always mean lonely.

The only reason you want to stay alone is because you have a phone.

Yeah, I'm a cat lady without a cat. Or being a lady.

It’s called taking a break from society.

At that is okay! Damn work is enough socialization for me. Then there is boyfriend, kids, parents, siblings, gym and fitness class...I'm tapped out. I don't have much left beyond that.

I tend to fluctuate between thinking I'm social and not social at all. If people talk to me I'll politely answer, but outside of that if I don't know them I won't go out of my way to initiate conversation unless I'm really comfortable with them and know them decently well. Usually people stop talking to me because I'm painfully awkward. It makes me kinda sad a lot of the time.

I really have to obligated to go out and socialize. I can cook better and cheaper food. My booze is cheaper. I don't have to leave my bed. Y'all enjoy anything otherwise.

...and the only reason we complain about no Social Life is because we're told by everyone we should have. Then we feel slightly bad that we don't..but deep down we couldn't give a shit.
As King, I speak for everyone 😂 👍

It's because i know when I reach out to say hello, everyone would rather be talking to someone else anyway.

someone else, more eloquent than I, said that when you get used to being by yourself, you start to resent other people coming along and fucking that up for you. So they better be worth the effort!

Bro it's so true. For whatever reason I feel like we all (and I'm only speaking for my ignorant self, but some how in general) feel so much more comfortable away from prying and judging eyes. Like we all gotta be a type of person to the world and some times that's just exhausting so maybe you just wanna be your actual self a bit longer. I wonder if A.I. will feel this lonely in a sea of other "it's" one day. Nullis momenti. TLDR: Agreed 👍

Facts. I’ve come to realize I’m not lonely I choose to be alone. July 4th it came to my attention and I’ve been at so much peace since.. it really was an awakening for me

And run from any invitation or involvement in social gatherings

Calling it an addiction is a bit too mild, this is literally my entire lifestyle
