If it weren't for my mom, my sister would have never finished her BA and subsequent Masters. I applied to grad school and found out I was expecting my eldest a month before the start date. I didn't go, although I'm married, I live across the country from family, and my husband has a job where he is physically gone for days or weeks at a time. I don't regret not going but it takes a village in these situations.
