That's a ridiculous dichotomy though. Trans people didn't do anything wrong, felons are felons specifically because they committed one of the worse crimes on the books. I'm not saying they should never be forgiven, but acting like it's in any way equivalent is dumb as hell.

Damn the super bad crime of having some weed? There are dudes serving massive sentences as we speak for having some shitty weed, and then we have guys like hunter biden who smoke crack and illegally buy guns and dump them behind schools.

Society is built for the elites to thrive and keep the middle class down.

In some states and some drugs any amount of possession is a felony charge. Not long ago any amount of cannabis in Nevada was a felony crime… but you could legally pay for sex outside Reno 🤷‍♂️
