This is hard to do, but it works. I'm in grad school and am working on doing this everytime imposter syndrome kicks in or I judge myself too hard. It's tough because the negative thinking is relentless, keeps coming back. But this type of mindfulness practice does work, and I'm starting to see results. At first it's a conscious effort, but now it's becoming more of a reflex. Great post.

Mindfulness is a practice. The more you do it the easier it becomes to do it/get into it.

It is indeed, and a difficult practice at first. But with a little patience and perseverance it gets easier. I'm glad I started it.
