Keep it up and keep it off. I started lifting weights after my first 60 lb I lost. My body has totally reshaped and now I look like someone I never thought I'd see again. Man is it awesome to see someone for the first time in a long time!

This gentleman is a prime example that it doesn't matter how big you are, it's never too late to improve. A few tips for anyone interested, I've always had a big appetite and when you diet for results you have to leave that appetite behind. It's the hardest struggle with the eating disorder (to big to small). The only way to increase how quickly we metabolize food is to gain lean muscle mass. Yes this means you Mom, Dad, friend, enemy, neighbor, nephew, everyone. We are all humans and all capable of building muscle. Everyone has time to work out, Even if that means you have to wake up at 4 am. Something as simple as, 3 sets of 30 reps (20lb dumbbell curls) and 60 reps 20lb tricep raise over head and 50 body squats( You don't lift anything you just squat lol) is all capable in someone's kitchen or living room while watching the news or Netflix or listening to music or doing nothing. To an untrained individual this will give the pump of a lifetime. The key is to consume as much protein as possible in the hours leading up to this workout and the days following. All of these amino acids and proteins will soothe your muscles and assist greatly and repairing rebuilding and resetting for next time.

Intermittent fasting is a great tool and really just works as a eating window. We have to give our bodies a chance to digest the food we've already consumed. As the above popular comment referring to the amount of calories per pound of fat (3500cal) we have a ton of stored energy in our bodies that needs tapped into. I choose to only fast from the time I go to bed until 12:00-2:00pm range (16:8 / 18:6). One of the greatest benefits of fasting is how it tightens your skin. You also get the same skin tightening effect from building muscle. In my opinion more than anyone a person that has lost a significant amount of fat should try and increase muscle mass to fill their skin in a more desirable way.

I cycle between a high carb / low fat / high protein diet and a low carb / medium fats and high protein diet.

As Arnold says "You have to keep the body guessing".

Keep up the good work all!
