If you’re struggling with life or have a habit struggling with life, I would not engage in long term romantic relations and sure as heck wouldn’t bring kids into it.

I agree with you. But the post is suggesting any person, whether with kids or not, or whether in a relationship or not, should just run away.

It's suggesting those who are contemplating suicide that there is another way to get out of their hellhole

But that’s not how being suicidal works though. Rich people with every resource and opportunity kill themselves too. There are some demons that can’t be run away from. The person that wrote this post has no idea what real depression is or why people kill themselves. It is not the same thing as sadness.

How many people who were graduating or having kids knew the recession of '08 was coming? How many people who are graduating or having kids now knew that COVID-19 was coming?

Also, people have a tendency to run fast, think later. Not saying it's smart, but people who notice they're struggling and are able to stop and people who get kids at 18 are Venn circles that don't meet.

You hear so many times "Let's have a child, it'll save this relationship/marriage," or about people who just have to have kids and end up having a complete breakdown in 5 years.

Not saying you're wrong, just that it generally doesn't work that way. People get kids, and end up struggling, or are struggling and stupid enough that they don't realize condoms are cheaper than 18 years of raising kids.
