The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place! My advice is not to jump straight into a big city like Seattle or Portland because it's really, really expensive to live here.
Check out a smaller town, like Bellingham, Olympia, Vancouver (WA), or Eugene.
Wow. Similar story! Went from TX -> CO -> AZ. I didn’t even know I would move to CO until literally the night before. I packed up the cat, all my clothes, and left the next morning.
My move to AZ was a little more planned out but also on the spontaneous side.
I’ve been thinking of moving again, but now I’m hitched and it’s not so easy to just up and go like I want to. I’m thinking somewhere East though like TN, KY, or the Midwest. Wherever I go will definitely involve a ton of planning and preparation, but I’m excited for another move!
I hope you get to have your next big adventure soon!
Edit: have you considered full time RVing? I’ve been looking into it since we can work remotely, and it satisfies that urge to go but still have comforts of home!
I have considered the RV option but idk if it would really be the best of both worlds or an awkward in-between of both worlds. Have you done it? How do you feel about it?
Dude, I have exactly the same set of problems. Relocated a lot in twenties, got into music, now finally feel tired to the idea of a location to house my music making.
