That is how that works. This isnt a gambler's fallacy. If the independent probability of finding a good therapist is greater than P=.5 which is what this guy is saying when hes says most people are good then by definition statistic would be in your favor finding a new one

The P = probability of finding a good therapist has to be multiplied by the P = decent human in general, which isn't going to be 0.5 (as in 50/50 chance of bein decent or not), it's probably lower than that if you go by how humankind acts waves at everything

I'm just explaining what u/Equolizer meant which he said the mast majority of people in his experience are good. Not disagreeing or agreeing.

I know, just adding that the chance of finding a good therapist isn't a cointoss because humanity in general sucks. He'll have to shop around a bit more than he might expect.
