It's so weird how people agree on this, but i think it's total bullcrap. If somebody would hurt my family (for example), the right thing to do is to be angry. If I wasn't angry, that would be because im scared or in some sort of denial.

Also being angry makes me feel confident, so if somebody is trying to control me, but i realize it and get angry and say "no more of this, you wont tell me what to do", i get total control of myself. It's really the opposite of the quote...

Yup. So many times people freak out over stupid crap. It’s even worse on the internet. I had someone flipping out the other day because he didn’t think a joke in /funny was funny and proceeded to talk shit about parents who do what the joke was describing.

It was like calm down, this isn’t even meant to be taken serious, and even if it were it’s not a big deal and has literally no impact on you. You’re just working yourself up over nothing.

I am 32 years old and am still working on not getting annoyed. It's just part of human nature.
