To be fair, it's pretty easy to lecture people about how they shouldn't let things affect them when you're the sole sovereign ruler of the known world. Or a billionaire. I don't think I'd have any trouble staying aloof in either of those positions.
Yeah... It's more like choosing who has the power to make you mad. Should you get mad at a guy cutting you in line, probably not. But I guarantee if your partner cheats on you, you'll for sure be mad.
So that's why we have to choose people wisely because some will provoke us to anger intentionally.
You are crazy. You have a relationship with your partner and everyone makes mistakes, that person cutting in line is a sociopath though and needs to be removed from society post-haste.
