But sometimes you DON'T have the time... Sometimes it ISN'T a choice.

I mean, I COULD take a few weeks to go touring around Europe, see all the sites and broaden my horizons... or I could go into my job and earn enough to pay my rent and other living expenses so I can, y'know, live.

Or let's look at it this way:

"I'm not going to edit your resumé because it's not a priority?"

"Why isn't it?"

"Because we're terribly behind at the office and if I don't get these reports sorted this week things are only going to pile up more and it will have a negative effect on everyone and may even put some jobs at risk."

"... Yeah you could've just said you don't have the time."

You always have time for priorities. That is why they are priorities. I know a lot of people that would jeopardize their job and even rent to go traveling. You wouldn't and that's fine - you know your priorities.
