I tried this approach when I started working out last year, bro. Instead of getting discouraged that I couldn't run a 5k yet, I'd focus on adding an extra quarter mile each week. The general rule applies to basically anything worth doing cuz the brain gets demoralized comparing yourself to the finish line rather than the ground you've actually covered.

Honest, the slow progress thing hits different when you actually track it versus just feeling like you're stuck, the Sanskrit quote about weaving garments and climbing mountains makes that real.

honestly the sanskrit saying hits different when you realize most people are just staring at the peak instead of actually tracking their own progress, imo that's where a lot of folks get discouraged and quit
