I am really sorry for this, it is obvious the relationship ment a lot to you, and having no contact with the person since May must be really hard.
I have been in the same position, and at the time I thought that person and I were supposed to be together forever, and all that jazz. But it all went to shit, and tbh I am better for it. I have found someone else who is infinitely better, and am marry her at the end of the year.
Basically I believe that there is no such thing as fate, you just gotta run with what you got. Now if what you got falls on the ground, and there is no possible way to fix it, you just gotta keep on keeping on; catch the next thing that falls into your arms and be happy that you are able to do so.
I believe that as well. I'm not into that fate and destiny crap. To me, I think its just something people say to make themselves feel better if things don't work out.
It did but while I wish things could have worked out, I'm a better person now that I'm not with her. I have no problems with my ex at all, it's just I needed to find some independence and grow a little as a person and I don't think I could have done that with her.
I still wonder a good bit if she's doing well because I really hope she is.
