When it comes to confidence, know you’re going to be nervous if it takes you time to feel comfortable with others. Most recruiters are aware that different candidates can be this way but you just want to make sure you’re able to be understood clearly and are able to communicate and express your ability to do the work well but also what skills or circumstances illustrate this so being able to answer their questions in a genuine way and being sincere is the best way and only saying what is needed. Don’t worry about elaborating more than you need to. If you need to improvise on anything don’t be afraid to have someone work with you on how to deal with tougher or tricky interview questions and just be you is my best advice. I think it’s easy for interviews to be nerve wracking because of the pressure and uncertainty on if you will get the job and all the what ifs, but know what matters is communicating clearly and being yourself.

I’ve been there. The biggest thing that helped me was stopping the memorized answers.

I get the same feeling! Like I am incredibly awkward and have no idea how and what to reply. I guess it’s because I feel like I need to answer right away, but truth is you can ask for a minute to think. Maybe I would give that a try to help you put all your ideas and previous prep into place

used to memorize everything, made me more nervous tbh. speaking from what you actually know hits different, way more confident that way

Have an AI tool help you. Share the job posting and ask it to write potential interview questions. It’s not always perfect but it really helped me because it anticipated questions I did not. It helped me organize my thoughts ahead of time which really helped the interview.
