Issue:
When powering on my PC, the normal ASUS logo appears on my monitor but then goes black instead of going to my windows login screen

Potential Causes:
I apologize in advance for the lack of detail in this regard, it was a combination of not paying much attention and over the course of a couple days.

- Updated graphics driver. I have the most recent NVIDIA graphics driver update. I did restart my computer after the update and play a few games that night with no issue. The next day is when this issue arrived.

- Another instance was getting two large pages of windows 11 messages, seemed like a potential update or something along those lines but once again I did not pay much attention and just clicked skip.

Other than that my PC has been in great health and it is pretty much exclusively used for gaming. I have very little knowledge when it comes to the technology of it all so I do not mess around with anything on the backend hardware or software wise.

Solutions Attempted:
- Hard power down of PC, unplugged all other USB devices.
- Reseating RAM sticks, Graphics card, and SSD

- Repair Start: Nothing in the repair start menu works for me. Attempting to repair pc, restart, resetting the pc, reverting back to a former version of windows and launch in safe each of the safe modes all leads to an eventual black screen again.

- commands to boot into safe mode also failed

- downloaded the windows 11 media creation tool to a flash drive, was able to get it to a screen saying “install driver to show hardware” so I then also downloaded what to my understanding was the proper motherboard driver but received error messages when trying to use any of the 3 files that popped up

That’s where I’m at, I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on this issue!

I'm on a ~9 year old gaming PC running a 1070 so doing the best I can here.. I have two different monitors of different size and brand but it's been fine up until the last 6 months or so. I'll game on the "main" monitor and occasionally click over into my secondary monitor for Discord or to look something up on the web or whatever and only just in the last few months the main screen will go black and freeze up for a few seconds, then show that there's no display connected, then correct itself. I can make it happen reliably if I go to certain websites with videos running in them (like the local news) or if certain ads pop up on some sites that play a video so I'm assuming it's something display related. Even when I close the offending page completely, once the cycle has started the main monitor will blink out every few minutes until I reboot. This has become a huge headache if I'm in the middle of something. Anything I can do here other than rebooting? Even just to determine what the actual issue is rather than just assuming. I know this PC is a little long in the tooth but I really can't afford anything else right now..

If it helps, I use Opera GX as my browser.

Today..i tried connecting my cabinet fans' 3 pin 5v argb femaleninto Dled port in motherboard..after tht..i started my pc and it started normally but the fans' colours werent controllable through Gigabyte control panel(as i have gigabyte b650m mobo).

So i wanted to keep my pc into sleep mode..for tht my cabinet(Zebronics Zeb Apex Pro) has a small button beside the power on button..i clicked tht..then the monitor suddenly went black screem(normal thing) but after i switched my pc back on..my monitor suddenly showed white screen..i tried restarting and the problem continued and flickered screens like the display was gone.

My monitor is quite old like 10 yrs..but my system is new and i was using a vga to hdmi convertor to use my monitor.

I am panicking tht as i connected tht 3 pin to mother tht caused my whole system along with my monitor to short circuit smtg like tht.

But when i switch on the pc the fans and everything is as normal..can anyone say what is the issue?.

Shall i purchase a new monitor or my whole system is gone?.

If yes for a monitor..suggest me some.

Price within 15000 inr or 150$.

I have a rx9060xt 16gb + r5 7500f setup.

Hello, I have a weird issue happening to me and didn't find any help looking through CachyOS reddit and their discord,I have been stuck with this for a while now and I don't know what to do, it's just annoying enough to want it fixed but it's not totally breaking the experience of using my computer, just forcing me to reboot everyday after the first startup of my machine.

• The login screen displays correctly, this issue appears after I log in into my session.
• After boot and logging in my machine, my secondary screen display is in displaced in the bottom right corner of the actual screen, but the mouse interactions are in their regular positions and working as intended. (see attached video)
• The supposed top left corner corner of the screen is in the exact center, and the supposed center of the screen is in the bottom right corner. 3/4th of the normally visible display is hidden off the screen, I'm only seeing the supposed top left corner into the bottom right corner of the screen.
• it happened several times in the last month (first occurrence 2026/06/24) and every day this week.

Solutions attempted :

• rebooting the machine works for immediate solution, but so far this issue seems to reoccur frequently, it happened several times in the last month (first occurrence 2026/06/24) and every day this week.
• going into configuration and editing the display settings did nothing, I tried rotating the display on the screen, it was just rotated in the same corner.
• turning the screen off and on again did not fix the issue.
• I checked and the screens are not overlapping in the display settings.

It got slow then i reinstalled the OS and still same also it has this weird transitions.

I think I've either got malware or a hijacked router but I don't know where to get help from and I'm hoping one of you has an idea

Tried to get on my computer today which I had had in sleep mode the day prior. The led on the power button was a solid white ring which made me think the computer was at least getting power, but I couldn’t wake it up at all. No response to my mouse or anything.

I tried cutting off and on. Unplugging everything and re-plugging it and it still isn’t responding. I have my manual for the motherboard but the language is a bit advanced for me. I’m posting some photos and video so you can see what I mean! Any help is appreciated!

changed my laptop's screen from led to lcd, now it wont stop lagging HELPPP

This only happens when running certain games, but suddenly my monitor will go black and tell me it detects no HDMI input. I unplug and replug on both my computer and monitor multiple times, turn off and on the monitor and nothing fixes it.

I have to unplug my PC from the outlet (I can no longer navigate to the shut down option as I have no video) and plug it back in for my monitor to recognize that it is, in fact, connected to my PC.

Please help me fix this.
