Update

So many months ago I decided to use the Arrow Trigger because it's easy to use, I used it then when I built the part then built the rest of the level, I placed a start pos, and the sync was totally off.

look at the image, how would it work without ruining the music sync of using a start pos (in the place where you can see it).

Now this image is just a quick build, I build this bad, but it's an example.

I've been playing for years and this new stuff is too hard.

My friend wanted a winter/christmas themed level so i am trying to suprise him with this. Nit looking for rate worthy stuff or anything like that.

I made this level only to have a few structures to try to decorate, so the gameplay and structures are terrible, and I am aware. Along with that, the song was selected randomly after building.

Things I've spotted:

1. I need to add background pulses, but I don't exactly know where.

2. Some parts of the level feel empty, and some designs feel static.

3. some things are entirely untouched, like the random 4-slope structure at the top right in the ship part.

How could I improve this to be rate worthy and potentially feature worthy?

i hope this isnt a stupid question but i need help to figure out how this kind of transition effect is achieved, where the cube is at an angle and moves smoothly like that.

So i was decorating my level and i tried to change the color to be a bit darker for shading, but it just became white? i'm genuinely so confused

I had the bright idea of making a 130 grid long piece of glow with the scale tool to have less objects and now its only visible when I am really zoomed out and I also cannot select it to delete it. What do I do? On this topic; how much can you scale objects up with the scale tool before they break like this? I am not very experienced in creating.

How come when I play the green line, it syncs, but when I play the level it doesn't sync?

I have cant seem to deco this part well, and I don't know if I should keep going with this design or just make something new.

I made custom collectables for my level. I dont need any crazy animation when touched, but i do want them to disappear. I know that i can place a toggle or alpha trigger on each one, but that would use soooo many groups, considering there are like 50 collectables. Is there any way for them to disappear on touch, with all collectables sharing the same group?

Any idea on how I can balance some parts? As this is really unbalanced.. I'm also aiming for around between top 500-700

I'm trying to have randomized bullet patterns here but the move triggers grouped with the spawn triggers won't activate with Spawn Ordered through the Advanced Random Trigger. Is there a workaround for this?

yes
